Ok so ive been at this duelboxing thing for a bit and i thought i had a pretty good setup but then i just read a few posts on this forum and now im back to having some questions.
I have an Amd athlon 64X2 dual core 5000+ 2.61 ghz with 2 gigs of ram and Windows Xp and i thought i was running pretty good i use octopus and maximizer with 1 display.
The main is run full screen and the secondary is run 1/4 screen (top right when i alt. tab) they run about 30-35 fps and i can deal with that but now i read about optimizing some things like.
Turning off explorer.exe in the task manager and setting fps on the accounts to max at some value or other and also about symlinking some cache folders or somethin i guess im still an uber noob cause i knew nothing about any of this stuff some help would be great

Oh forgot to mention the video card is a radeon x1300pro 256mb and i know someone will want to tell me to get some better hardware but im really broke lol so just some help with setup would be nice like i said i can play with my current set up but any improvements are always welcome

And i guess i should also say that i run wow from a single installation and a single folder the main is run by maximizer full screen 1280x1024 with most of the settings turned high and the second is run by wow in a windows mode at 800x600 with all settings turned low

I dont know about running from 2 installs or from multiple folder of the same install ive read about both as options but i have no idea which is the best option for me

P.S. i just found the /commands to set maxfps and maxbkfps
i set the forground main to 30 and the background secondary to 5 (since i only see it to loot it doesnt matter to me)
still getting low fps on main bout 15-25 in ghostlands
