View Full Version : Totem Macro?

Hi all, new here and new to dualboxing... I've read the faqs, the wiki, etc... but I had a bit more specific question.

I have two pairs I'm trying out right now, a mage/mage or possibly warlock/mage pair, and a guildie suggested rolling a shaman pair.

So my first question is... mage/mage or warlock/mage?

My second question is the actual reason for the posting of this thread. Is there a good totem macro I should use?

I'd like something where shaman 1 drops totem a, b, c... and shaman 2 drops d, e, f...

Exact names escape me at the moment, as they are still very low... just trying to think ahead.

Thanks in advance...

EDIT: Ugh, I fail. I found the shaman macros on the macro wiki... Sorry for the waste of space.

Hi yata allows binding of totems to specific keys it also puts a totem stomp macro on each char. this cast sequence macro can be tailored to drop a diff totem set on a per char basis bind it to same key with your desired set layouts on each char and order and your good to go.

they are fairly easy to find...

I use this on mine two shammies (level 38 ) shift-key recall them all...

Front guy(enhanced):

/kfollow stop
/castsequence [nomodifier:shift] reset=3 windfury totem, searing totem, healing stream totem, strength of earth totem; totemic call

Back gal(elemental):

/kfollow stop
/castsequence [nomodifier:shift] reset=3 flametongue totem, mana spring totem, stoneskin totem, grounding totem; totemic call

I found it on curse I think. KeepFollow is the official name of it. I think it works better than the constant follow thing in TwoBox Toolkit, and is certainly easier than using the WoW /follow command. Basically, because I like to move around when I am fighting, I stop my follow command so it doesn't realign me with my master while I am trying to kill stuff (sometimes the keepfollow works too good...) :D
