Is there any way to target AoE's, via a macro?

This doesn't work, but I'm looking for something like:
Druid: /cast [target=PallyTank] Hurricane
Mage: /cast [target=PallyTank] Blizzard

I'm not looking for mouse pass clicks or whatever it's called.

Any recommendations?
Well then two choices for AoE.
Will have Priest (Holy Nova), Paladin (Consecrate) and...

1) Warlock... Seed Spam or Demon Form/Immolation Aura

2) Mage (Active Window) Blizzard with Druid healing Pally -or- Mage Arcane Explosion with Druid (Active Window) Hurricane

Any recommendations? Well, i have a multi class setup, and when I want to aoe, i do the following:

1. Verison with simple untargetet AOE
Pala: Consecration (plus, active played, building up aggro, to tank the mobs an do alot of reflection damage with holy shield...)
Priest: Holy Nova (for a little Damge and Healing)
Mage: Arcane Explosion (and Blast Wave if fire specced)
Warlock: Hellfire (and Demonform + Demon-AOE if needed)
Shaman: Fire Nova Totem, Magma Totem, Thunderstorm and between cooldowns some AOE-Heals

2. Version with targetted AOE:
Mage: normal AOE + Living Bomb
Warlock: normal AOE + Seed of corruption

And atm is no way to cast other AoE Spells?

Like Force of Nature from Druid or Hurricane?

Are there some changes in WotlK about macros, someone know?

thanks and sorry for my bad english

no, no, no and no.

This will not be implemented either, they removed it for good reasons. Targetable spells are a bitch for multiboxers, all answers are already in this thread.

And atm is no way to cast other AoE Spells? Well. There are ways, by going full hardware or using mouse-broadcasting.
But there is no simple macro-option.

Have multiple instances on a single display adapter. Have a fast computer. Click twice instead of once to target. Live with a little imprecision and taking a while to get the whole team off.

There used to be better ways, but none currently beyond this and the above.

Mouse Broadcasting works on one PC with KeyClone? Or is that for full Hardware too and if not, do you have a tool or now a guide, for me is the place not so important, just for casting "Force of Nature" so that the trees are in my near or something like that, just for using them, i like them ;)

I will try it, hope i understand it:

I have 2 displays, one the first the main char and on the other one the 4 toons. Do you think this will work too? Just clicking it two times on the main window? its for PvP so i have not the change to switch every display.

Thanks everyone who wants to help and find a good way for us ;)

Mouse Broadcasting works on one PC with KeyClone? It works on one pc, but I never got the mousebroadcasting working (other than buttons, and i don't know if its even possible) with keyclone.

A good program you can use for mousebroadcasting is HotKeyNet ('http://www.hotkeynet.com') , which you can use for only mousebroadcasting in addition to keyclone, or as an replacement of keyclone, as it can also handle the other Features, like Maximizer, Round-Robin, PiP and so on..

..one thing to mention is, that it is mainly configured via scripting (which i like, but may be not everybody) and therefor can do some realy cool stuff.
It is very well documentet on the website, and its author Freddi or the HKN-Community will help you if you have any questions.
And btw. it's free in its current state!

For a quick impression what you can do with it, regarding mouse broadcasting, see: [HotKeyNet] HotkeyNet + AOE! ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=72573#post72573')

Getting your trees should not be a problem, if you can life with a little inprecission!

Another thing to mention is, if you want to get deeper in it, thats it not a key/mouse-multiplexer (like keyclone) but an 'hotkey-program'.
This allows you on the one hand, to simple use it together with keyclone fpr broadcasting only the mouse, on the other hand if you want to use it as a full multiplexer its a little bit more complex, because for example there is not realy an 'broadcast all keys'-option and so on...

well, at the time of writing this I am going to reference the post immediately above this one.
This turns your targeted aoe's into point blank. Perfect for my aoe set up.
Distraction At the Dead Scar bombing macros ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5545')

This actualy works for targeted AoE spells. Blizzard and Rain of Fire for example.

/cast rain of fire
/script Minimap:PingLocation(0, 0)

Just clicking it two times on the main window? its for PvP so i have not the change to switch every display.Yes, but it significantly increases the latency hit you take when you switch to a different client over an all-on-primary layout.

With all clients on a single display using the primary video adapter (note, this is usually the connector on the video card closer to the motherboard) and a rather robust computer, the latency incurred when switching clients (without resizing via PiP swap or whatever) can be low enough that you really do just click twice where you want it to cast - once to select, once to cast. Well, maybe three times depending on your double-click speed...but it's effective.

I'm unsure you have it right when you say "on the main window"...click on the client window of the slave you want to cast, after first activating the target circle via a bound action. For example, say I'm on a priest and want four mages to cast blizzard, and that I have "6" set up to activate a "/cast Blizzard" macro on my mage slaves. To do the deed, hit 6, then go between the mages' client windows clicking twice where you want them to cast the spell.

This still takes a while to do for the whole team. The only way to improve on it - at this point, that I know of - is to use some sort of mouse broadcasting setup (hardware or software) as described.
