My wife and i have our own computers in the same room next to each other. we both have Geforce cards with the S-video in/out. What i would like to do is setup my card to video out and her card to video IN and connect the two together so whats on my screen shows up on her screen with a VIVO player. anyone know how to do this and what would be a good VIVO program(like what you would use to play a console system on your pc"

my goal is to have fraps on her pc so i can record gameplay from my machine without hurting my resources. im already 5 boxing on my one machine and that would add too much...

thanks in advance

What resolution do you run on your gaming machine? I've seen video capture cards and hdtv tuner cards at stores for around 100 bucks that advertise capture at 1080p (1920x1200) so worst case you can always spring for one of those if your wifes box can't keep up with the stream at a decent framerate. You would also need a video distribution multiplier ($$$) to duplicate the signal from your videocard to both your monitor and fraps box

You would be capturing the entire output of your video card however and you would need to go to the trouble of editing out your other 4 wow instance windows from the video, unless you wanted to show them

from what i was reading and such i would leave my monitors setup the same way i have it now and just plug in a s-video cable and set it to "clone" my monitor so on her screen it has a video player showing my screen. i can use Camstudio to define what area i want to record so i can set it to just get half of that window which would be my main character.

i learned alot from this link http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1647907/recording_video_game_playing_on_your_computer/

but im looking for the actual drivers and such to my card to actually do it. ill mess around with it more and post my results in case anyone else would be interested in doing it themselves
