There have been reports that being zombiefied increaes your armor a lot. Can you verify this? Apparently the high armor stayed after becoming de-zombified again...

You get the zombie sickness from others or, at the source, in booty bay (green crates)



When zombified you get more HP but I didn't check the armor and I don't think it persists - it's a bit annoying because ppl tend to kill you and the l75 guards are tough to kill (but once they become your pet, it's fun)

apparantly there's a trick that can instantly get your zombie back to 100% health even in combat. But I'd suggest not to use it as I fear Blizzard would sanction people abusing that game mechanic. :P

And it will probably be hotfixed quickly.


...It's so tempting to use it just to get the alliance boss kills for the mount tho. Must resist. :<

sadly it's been hotfixed while my first raid was wiping and I didn't have any weapon to swap on my mage. by the time I bought another staff and got to BB to get sick again, it wasn't working anymore

I wish the extra zombies you get by killing npcs wouldn't auto attack and run (slowly!) after random players as that makes it hard to collect a small army

Great event,
5 clouds easily heal your zombies to full health while a lvl 75 IF guard is pounding on 'm.

Visiting a city automatically becomes a raid on your own king \o/
Darn argent healers near him is annoying tho.
but nothing a good zerg won't fix :P

I think I made a lot of new enemies by zombyfying IF :p

No clue about it's end,
there's an even worse phase to come from the rumours I've heard,
current cities ending in flames and whatnot.

They're rumours, but still, I woulnd't be surprised if it happened.

BTW: anyone had any success macro'ing these abilities,
somehow my toons won't use the abilities if I try to. :(
manually clicking them is a pain.
Altho 5 zombies turn any npc into a zombie in no-time with just autoattack,
it would be better if I could improve it with macro's.

I've not been multiboxing this event but it's been a ton of fun. Saturday I took over Ratchet and Crossroads for about an hour with my zombie army. Sunday I sat in Org and played cure disease bot for a while while people tried to gank the AH and bank. Hella fun.

I got off the boat in Ratchet and there where a tone of zombies running around trying to get people or players.

I was coerced into camping the mage tower in SW. People would port in and within seconds they would be zombified :) The first few times it happened to me I was rather annoyed to say the least, but after finally resigning to the fact this was going to remain the nor all weekend I ended up enjoying myself.

I played both ends. Saturday, I went on zombified rampages through several smaller towns and large parts of Thunder Bluff. Then Sunday I logged in my priest and played defender (aka cleanse-bot) for a few hours while people tried to take over the Org AH and Bank. Fun, fun stuff. I'm so glad I didn't take it all too seriously and fail to enjoy the one-time, short-duration event. :)

So many angry people in the other forums lately, and some of their arguments are highly amusing.

Im just sad i only figured out how to macro macarron to work with the possession bar for all my characters so that i could get them to attack easily.
last night..

then I get to work this morning and find out that the event is over.

Ah well, Ill always have the memory and me zombifieing every mob in sw cathedral and then telling trade chat about it and having 30 people come in to cleanse the place and run into around 50 zombies.

Well question i use five accounts on one computer with them all maximized and have been trying to take a ss to show a friend but everytime i do i only show the main screen how can i get all five that i see on my computer to show

I was only on one of my shammies at the time, but it continues to increase your armor and your crit rating. I got my armor from 9k to 34k. However the second you enter and instance it is removed. I can only expect that it removes it in a BG or arena also. But it would be fun to get mixed up in some world pvp with a 75% physical damage protection. :)
