Quick question before I get started

Hello everyone...first I would like to thank everyone for this great forum...I have learned alot. I am new to multiboxing and have a question before I get started.

At the moment I have two wow accounts...one is my main account which has my main(lock) and two other 70s(prot pally and holly priest) and the other is just a secondary account I got a while back so I could roll a horde toon on the same server as my alliance toons. The other day I was bored so I reactivated my secondary account and started dual boxing a couple shamans...well I think I'm hooked on multiboxing and want more toons to level up with. Since I already have two accounts I was thinking it would be best to just get two more accounts and set them up with RAF. However after reading these forums it is still unclear to me if having a 70 toon on a seperate account to run the others with would be a good idea or not.

So my question is this...would it be best to (A) use my existing two accounts and link them to two new accounts using RAF and forget about the 70s or (B) should I get three new accounts so I can use my main account to help level with my 70s? Also if I go with option (B) should I link my main account to RAF or just the 4 leveling accounts? I think I saw someone post about not having the 70 account linked to RAF for some reason...is someone could explain this it would be great.

Yeah, you want to have your 70's NOT LINKED to your RAF accounts. The reason for this is that when boosting using a 70 which is linked, you do not get the triple bonus XP. However, if the account the 70 is on is not linked (I get my bro to run me) as long as your toons are in the same group and near each other, you DO get the triple XP (it is still modified because you are being run by a 70, but the modifed xp gets triples so you still get heaps more than you would normally).

I hope this answers your question. In summary, for lots of XP, don't link your account with the 70s.

Boosting is faster, but carries the risk that (since it is a confirmed bug to still get RAF 3x XP while boosting) it may get hotfixed at any point in time.
