Hulloes!
The name's Jayne and I'm a newbie at multiboxing. Well, to be perfectly honest, I haven't even started yet! I'm planning to roll on a new european server come expansion, with the setup Rogue-Druid-Shaman. Anyway -- I've been reading up on what macros to use and whatnot and before I continue to the actual point of this topic I just wanted to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who takes the time to posts tips, guides and such--you have no idea how you inspire and help people! You also seem to have a comfortable community which I reckon must be neat after recieving harassments in-game...
I've always been an RP'er, and it's no wonder my in-game friends and I are looking to roll on a new RP server when they (hopefully) open. But my question here is if anyone has experienced any problems with Multiboxing on an RP server? Are there any additional rules that needs to be taken into account? Aside from the obvious "good RP names", of course. Been trying to look it up, but no luck yet!
Thank you & keep boxing,
Jayne

I play on an RP server and the only difference that I can see is that everyone tries to talk like a drunk dwarf pirate. :)
Good Luck with your boxing...

i play on an RP server and there's not too much RP going on. you'll find that there's plenty of RPers as well as non-RPers in the realm. so no worries, the responses you get from either realm are usually the same. even if you dont have an RP name, not too many people will really be offended if your name is jayne or if its krylon. for example.

I box on feathermoon, It's and RP server and the server is pretty use to me at this point if you're looking for a rp server to box on.
Also there are a few other boxers on the server so you wouldn't be alone, horde and alliance side.
When I started all I got was flask, 50+ /spits and whispers a day being rather negative. If you're going to start on a new server, don't let them get to you.

I box on Steamwheedle and have only had one negative experience and dozens of positive ones. Less butt-headed ness going on on RP servers it seems to :)

Thanks for all the answers! Just wanted to feel "safe" and make sure I'll be within the rules and extended policies over there. Was planning on using real RP names, so there are no worries about that. Heard that you get reported often so it might be best not to give them [the GM:s] a reason to act, hehe.
Nejcha: [...]"When I started all I got was flask, 50+ /spits and whispers a day being rather negative. If you're going to start on a new server, don't let them get to you." Oh, that is sad to hear. But don't worry about me, got myself a thick nose -- and thanks to this forum I'm more prepared than ever to go out and meet them!
Box'on,
Jayne
I'm really sorry for this in advance, but I cant help myself when I saw your name. ><
The Ballad of Jayne
Jayne, the man they call Jayne
He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne
Our Jayne saw the mudders' backs breakin'
He saw the mudders' lament
And he saw the magistrate takin'
Every dollar and leavin' five cents
So he said "you can't do that to my people"
He said "you can't crush them under your heel"
So Jayne strapped on his hat
And in 5 seconds flat
Stole everythin' Boss Higgins had to steal
He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne
Now here is what separates heroes
From common folk like you and I
The man they call Jayne
He turned 'round his plane
And let that money hit sky
He dropped it onto our houses
He dropped it into our yards
The man they called Jayne
He stole away our pain
And headed out for the stars
He robbed from the rich
And he gave to the poor
Stood up to the man
And gave him what for
Our love for him now
Ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton
The man they call Jayne.

i wonder how this ballad sounds like when spoken or sung.
and i think the only reason why you hear about people getting reported all the time is because you only hear about the people getting reported.

If you are into Rp, no problem. If not: stay away from the RP servers. Please.
