I'm currently 5-boxing with a quad core q6600 on windows vista 64. I want to use core 0 and core 2 for my main toon and the other Alts would share the other 2 cpus.

I tried using this shortcut:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /C start /AFFINITY 5 C:\Progra~1\Worldo~1\Wow.exe "

when I check the Wow in Task Manager, core 0 and core 1 is used. How do i set my shortcut to run core 0 and core 2? Thanks

if you are using keyclone, you can set the cpu affinity in the commands for each wow you wish to run. (the alpha also allows for multi-cores)

if anyone has any interest, just drop me a note and i'll give you the link

You can also use Windows Task Manager. On XP, bring up the task manager (CTL-ALT-DEL), right click your main WoW client process, pull down to "set affinity" and click the CPU core that you want to set.

ok, so far this is the only app I have found that works, still wont work on startup as you can only add 1 wow.exe to your favorites and when you set it all your running wow's get set to the same but it does work manually after you start up WoW
