Ok so I happened to have stumbled on this site earlier today and have been doing research all day and to be honest this seems like a damn blast. I was curious as to if my system would be able to duel box three characters. It’s an old system so if you have any suggestions as to upgrades I’d greatly appreciate it.

System:
Microsoft Windows xp

Computer:
Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
2.79GHz, 1.00 GB of Ram

if this isn’t strong enough what should I get that will and how much would it cost to upgrade to make a decent rig.

Thanks again,
Raz

P.S i posted this on the hardwares forum first without a response.. figured i'd have better luck here

what kind of video card do you have, and how much memory does it have? Currently, I don't think you could run 3 instances of WoW. You definitely need more RAM. You might need a better graphics card as well.

I don't think you can run 3 with that CPU and you would certainly need 2 gigs of ram and a mid tier 7 series (7600) or better (8600+) video card to give it a try.

Edit: My version of playable and yours may be different :) 30+ FPS nearly all the time is my version. You can PLAY 3 with that CPU but I would not consider it suitable for PvP.

Might be best to go dual core anyway.
