Anyone get the Headless Horseman Mount yet?

I went there 2 times now at lvl67 with my 4 shamans with a 70 druid friend as a tank. Killed him 10 times now and so far we got a: broom, cloth pumpkin head, a pet and the normal epics offcourse.

Killed him with my 4 shamans and got the drop on 2nd day after 10th kill (First day 8 kills (quest + daily)) and killed him now 17 times and got once atleast each his drop.

Our guild did it about 12 times and we didn't see it.
All the casters have new rings though.. sigh.

I got an 18 slot bag from a random outlands mob though..something like a trick-or-treat bag.

Around 20 kills between my crew and friends:

Mount: Once, on I believe my second kill. It was like 4:30 server time on the first night/morning so probably a server first. :D
Plate Helms: None.
Pets: Two.
Swords: None.
Pumpkin Helms: Two.
Brooms: Two.
Rings: Almost have all of them on all my guys though the straight spell power definately drops the most followed by the spell power/mp5 one.

The quest for horde is in brill from orphaned matron child, you can do this quest once to summon him, after that you can only do the normal daily.

I got mine yesterday morning with some guildies. ha they were mad that I got it because I already won the brewfest kodo and already had the brewfest ram from last year. I'm so pleased with the flying horse that I don't even want a proto-drake!!! Seriously, you can fly around on your dragons and what not, but when I swoop down with my mages and one is on my flying horse.... hehe. The best part is that it doesn't even make sense, a flying horse? wtf!?!? haha =P

22 fights, no mount, but I did get the pet! 2 cloth helms have dropped aswell and like 5 brooms... I'm just one achievement post 3.03 to the title on my pally... but it's that dam sparking smile, I get tricked so much more than treated :cursing:

yes a permanent mount that adjusts to speed/zone. e.g. azeroth it'll move 100 if you have that skill, outlands it'll move 280 if you have the epic riding skill. So much fun running off an edge on the ground then flying away. i wish I could get a unicorn skin for mine, it would look so retarded rofl

Edit: All 5 shammies have brooms now and two got to refresh their brooms for longer use. Plus at least 4 others got brooms as well....lots of brooms.

oh btw I believe you can 10man this prepared if your guys are 65 now =DI read about this online and tried bringing in a sixth character as a raid on one of my attempts and immediately got the "transfer failed, the instance is full" error and the extra character was forcefully returned to his hearth location. 10 manning was possible last year but has it been disabled this year?

i must have made 25/30 kills so far, both on my team and with some friends. these arent exact values, just what i remember:

3 cloth heads (the ones needed for the achievement along with the mini pet)

Was surprised, thought the sword was much more common since we got it about 5 out of 10 kills on the first day. A lot of people have been farming it in my guild, so far no one else has the mount. I think I'll keep trying for it on my pally, would go well with the helm =p

I believe there is only one broom and it scales to your level and mount training. For example, I can use the blue broom anywhere in the WoW world including as an epic ground mount or epic flying mount.

No reset unfortunately. You get one shot per toon per day as far as I know.

For horde it's in brill ... when the pumpkin spawns after the fires are put out you loot a candle from the pumpkin, give it to the orphaned matron child, child gives you a quest to summon the HH. You can do this one only once, but you can do it in addition to your normal daily summon on the same day.

110 kills now, ass load of rings, everyone has like 2-3 brooms that scale, 3 plate helms, everyone has a pet squishling, 5-8 swords, only kept 3 of them, havent seen a damn mount yet.......anyone know the real drop rate?....if i get a mount in my next kill tomorrow my % will be .009, and i see tons of ppl riding around with it already. Those who have it about what time did you kill him to get it as in server time west coast????

I got mine! It took about 35 runs. It looks great. I have to remember not to jump in Outlands or I'll go airborne and slow down to 60%, but I'm still happy to show it off whenever I'm in town. :)

Killed him 4+ times each day, no mount. But my casters now all have the melee ring, and my tank and hunter have the caster rings and the sword. Started with my group of Pally, Shammy, and Mage with my wife's Druid. Just today, tried him with my Hunter, Shammy, and Mage, with my wife's Druid. All I have to say about that is Gorilla(level 67) + Earth shield = a good enough tank for HH.

I'm trying to kill him closer to the "daily reset" at least once before the vent ends.
Somehow I always had more luck at those times with the brewfest mount,
Probably my warrior will get the next and the rest will have to do with their kodo's for now :P

A tank is really not necessary in this fight btw.

I got in about 25 summons the first day this season. I was level 68 when I started. Since then I have consistantly gotten about 6-12 summons a day - I'm thankful I have a bunch of friends who have countless 70's and an ungodly amount of generosity to send my way farming. I lost track of how many summons I've made. In that time, I only just tonight got my 5th squashling (leaving only the toothpicks for the pain-in-the-rear achievements to get for the title). I have, however, seen two of the mount drop - one I gave to a friend, the other he gave to me.

First day did 16 summons and after that 8 summons a day since the day it started, ZERO mounts but tons of everything else.
