why is /stopcasting acting like /stopmacro? and other problems...

im using the current macro on my shaman
/stopcasting
/cast bloodlust

pre patch i could just press it once and it would cast bloodlust, now i have to press it twice...my other macros are doing weird stuff

like
/cast natures swiftness
/cast chain lightning

i have to press it twice sometimes....


then on my resto shaman if i use
/cast natureswiftness
/cast healing wave

if NS is on CD it will still cast healing wave which is fine but if i add tidal force in there and try to spam it, it says spell not rdy yet caue tidal force is on cd

/cast tidal force
/cast natureswiftness
/cast healing wave

any ideas?

I'm having the same issue with /stopcasting :(

I wanted it setup so I could have a roundrobin for typhoon so 1 char would stop their current spell and blast away.

/cast Lesser Healing Wave

I have to press it twice if I was in the middle of a cast but not if I wasn't. I've become accustomed to just hitting it twice but... when I need a heal I'm having to pay attention to my slaves cast bars and be careful because if I'm not casting anything then I have to hit it 3 times - the first will start casting, the second will interrupt and the third will start again. I hit the second because I started just automatically hitting it twice as thats what I thought I had to do.

If there is a fix it would free up some of my attention for more important things. I'd like to hit the key and know the heal is coming

I am seeing the same thing.... but I just concluded it was as expected because what I am seeing is the /stopcasting stops the previous spell but the GCD is still in effect. So if I hit my heal macro with stopcasting at the front, if it is within one second of when my previous spell was cast it will just give me an interupted on my cast bar, then I hit again and it casts the heal. But if it has been more then 1 second since the first spell it will go straigt to casting the heal.
