Ive searched for "keyclone chatting" and a few others but cant find how to fix the chat problem. So I guess you know if you / or enter to talk your remote machine goes crazy with double messages being posted or all ya short cut keys making every different window open in your remote wow.

Can someone please link me a thread on how to stop all chat to remote machine and stop it from opening all different screens, I just basilcally want my number pad to work with remote machin I guess.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Just in case anyone comes across this: set to do-not-pass Enter & slash. Problem solved.

Just in case anyone comes across this: set to do-not-pass Enter & slash. Problem solved. This will not fix the problem. It will cause while your typing all your slaves to jump around and open up dialogue boxes and what not. What you need to do is make a key such as tilda, turn off keyclone broadcasting. So when you want to talk, hit tilda, turn off broadcasting, talk then hit tilda to broadcast again.

Approach 1: Black-List
Have a key set up to pause broadcasting of keys (as mentioned in the previous post).
Press the key, chat etc. Re-press the key to turn broadcasting back on.
I use this approach, and only have NumLock (auto-run) on the Do-Not-Pass list (Black-List option).

Approach 2: White-List
Set up keyclone with the White-List, Do-Not-Pass option.
The only keys which are passed are those which appear on the white-list.
Use keys which are never used on your main, such as the Num-Pad keys.
On the slave(s) have all the abilities you'd like to use be keybound to Num-Pad keys.

The first approach requires you to be diligent in pressing your Pause key.
You'll mess up a few times, and spam guildchat or what not.
If you click the "x" to close a window and now have some windows open on one toon but closed on another, press C (for character screen) or L (for quest log) and then Escape to close all windows on all clients.
With a bit of time, pressing the Pause/Override key will become second nature.

The second approach is far easier.
But you're limited to as few keybinds as keys your main account never presses or types in normal game-play.

this is what override is for

the default hotkey for the override toggle is PAUSE, found on the upper right of the keyboard (PAUSE/BREAK)

you can set it to whatever you want under keyclone/setup/override-settings

This. Also I've found it useful to bind DNP override and RR override (the former so you CAN have everyone take stuff you normally exclude, the latter so you can do things like a quadruple earth shock when you want it for burst not interrupt).
