Oh boy am I loooovin' this! I can see that a lot of people are still not thinking about a Shaman now having a spell like this. Just this morning I was trying to make my way across Ramparts and past 3 ally all higher level than me. Looked behind me and here they come. Just dropped my first totems, hit one thunderstorm and the gnome mage goes flying off the cliff! LOL insta death for him. This is the most fabulous spell to have for shaman. It is just totally rocking!

I learned to love it as soon as the servers were playable ... I took my team to the top of BT and killed loads of the glaive guys, got a ton of scryer rep out of it. Farmed up to Exalted on all 5 actually. Then I hit 70 and did dailies ... the allies never knew what hit em.

I let them go for the flag while hiding. Then when they are taking it I run up and BAM they are at BS now.

Middle position by the flag in EOTS
I just sit there with all 5 shammies and round robin people off the cliff the entire game!

Alliance bridge in AV
Same thing as EOTS. Lolz insue. Same things goes for towers.

The island
This by far is the best LOLZ you can get. Let them attack you just outside of the gaurds and then thunderstorm them into the gaurds and run.

Any other places people can think of?

No excuse now with the minor glyph that removes the need for a feather to cast the spell..

Slowfall can be hard to find mid air atleast for me since i dont have it hotkeyed :P Oh well blink works aswell!

I'm affraid the knockback might be removed, as it seems way too much. I got 2 shamans who can do it, and that's already alot 8)

A bunch of classes have knockback - Blizzard isn't going to nerf an ability just because a few multiboxers have 5x with 5 shamans.

Not talking about multiboxers, but just the spell in general ;) Check youtube to seewhat I mean :o

Serious question, do you guys find sometimes it knocks back like 5 yds, but other times it can knock back a fair distance? And do the knockbacks stack? As in, if I hit the guy with 4 knockbacks (all my shammies standing in the same spot), will he go back even further. It seems to be like that, a knockback will hit the guy when he is like 4 yds flying away and will knock him on even further.

Sadly, I haven't touched my druid/shaman team for the past couple weeks (other then throwing in my talent points)

I should probably play them enough to get rid of the rested xp they have by now. Can't wait to get an instance wipe for thunderstorm knockback :-P

We ... were concerned that the burst damage in PvP could be too high. We discussed this for literally hours yesterday, which was certainly not the first time we have discussed the issue. Has it occured to these people to just playtest it for maybe ONE hour, or monitor teh funnay it caused in Arena matches? 8|

I've never seen a Cloak of Shadows go up faster than I did last night (I have a fairly powerful rogue - who doesn't, right?). I was picking herbs in the Hinterlands when I see a lvl43 shaman trying to do the chicken escort quest. I decide to ghost wolf run nearby to make sure she makes it. Sure enough right as she gets to the edge of the map where you have to go down the long trail to the coast who shows up but a 66 undead rogue. Well, I come up pop out of wolf form, he sees me, disappears, sap, THUNDERSTORM ROUND ROBIN FTW!!!! I literally burst out laughing. It was so satisfying watching his ass fly through the air and HIS health bar go down for a change. You know he logged out went straight to the forums and started qq'ing about how shaman's Thunderstorm is OP'd.

It seems like when you chain cast 2 thunderstorms, but space them out by a second or so your targets get double air time, possibly even tripple with 3 of them. Has anyone else experienced this? I was doing eots yesterday and I launched a gnome from mage tower into the pit near the bridge

They get more air time if you're at any kind of elevation. Like if you're at the top of a hill. Yesterday I launched a warlock from a hill in Hellfire Penn (in the south near the ghost armory) he flew off the hill and was alive ... until ... a Fel Reaver swatted him. He died in the air ... at about shoulder length to a fel reaver. Dunno if got his corpse back.

I want to try and position my shamans so i can thunderstorm a person, into my other shaman, so on and so forth until he possibly get's knocks off to the login screen :S

I just did mana tombs with my 5 x lvl 65 shamans and I just round-robin the nexus terrors + frost shocking them, they don't even get a chance to hit me.

Ohw and having fun with allies aswell, I think when you hit thunderstorm just about right you make them fly further away.

P.S. Elemental Mastery + 5xThunderstorm (instant) = kill.

I'm gonna have to second the "more than 1 thunderstorm makes them fly farther" idea. I got hit by a rogue, and my first impulse is to spam thunderstorm (from my warlock, spam howl of terror) and I ended up hitting him with 4 thunderstorms. He flew out of range of my chain lightning.

I'm also starting to get the idea it dismounts people, but I haven't tested this thoroughly yet. In 'defending' scarlet monastery, I was with a group of about 10 horde (I think they were just watching me for the lols). Not sure if it was me or if they were dismounting themselves, but every time I hit TS they would dismount and continue running.

I have noticed that it dismounts also... however i cant say if its 100% of the time... but its great fun at the begining of AV to stand in the middle of the Alliance rush train and blow my TS cooldown... even though i get bombed by 10 alliance after



Rolling my 70 through BG's is taking away from my RAF levaling due to the sheer fun factor of TS... infact.. i have ditched my locks for a group of Shammies now.
