RAF free levels after 3.0...

Regarding this issue, we are waiting for further information on what will be done to resolve it. I do not have concrete information for you all just yet, but we hope to have something tonight. This is not definite, but it is what we're aiming for.

I want to stress, however, that our development team are aware of this problem and are looking into a good resolution for it. While I can understand the frustration and concern that you are experiencing, I ask that everyone remain calm and level-headed. We are looking into the matter and trying to find the best and fastest way to fix it.

I saw the other posts. If it came to the point that Blizzard actually ordered the GM-flunky to post that the levels are gone in a public forum...well, I'm not very hopeful.

I'm in the same boat, I just got a RAF up to 43 lastnight.. but 40 of those levels were earned pre-patch... I was going to use them to bring my priest up to 60 when I hit 60 on the RAF.. eh, worst case I PL another toon up in levels... annoying, but not the end of the world.

Happened to me too, lost 8 grants atm but i'm sure we'll get them back. Blizz won't drop, they've made a ton on this so far.

Wish there was a way to check how many levels I have left to gift. Some characters I don't remember using their gift levels at all, but I don't want to count on it and come up short (like gifting a character to 59 and running out ugh).

I've kept track on all my toons and you'd better believe I'll QQ long and hard if they don't restore this. It was CLEARLY stated in the terms of the RAF and nowhere did they mention a time limitation or warn us that it would disappear with 3.0.

Several players taking advantage of the Recruit-a-Friend Promotion have brought it to our attention that they are unable to grant levels earned prior to patch 3.0.2. We have made our Quality Assurance team aware of this issue and they are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we do not yet have an ETA to provide at this time.

Leveling past 60 will not affect your ability to grant levels. Please refrain from transferring your character, however.

Since this whole RAF level granting thing was part of a deal that brought in new subscriptions based on all of those perks, I'm doubting that they can push this aside and shrug. That first blue poster seems to have gotten it wrong.

My tolerance for dev shenanigans is a whole damn lot lower these days. :P

Well, I'm glad I got my high level grants out of the way before the patch. But I have until the 6th of November to use my lower level grants which I was going to use 2 days ago but can't now. I have 15 levels to grant on 16 level 17 alts that I had worked on so that those can get to the same level 32.
