So, recently I dinged 70.. I immediatly finished getting honored with the sha'tar and CoT and bought my blue PVP gear and headed into av.. I have to say I had a blast.. This was the finale to all the hard work I've done.. Sadly I started a week before RAF came out.. I hadn't heard anything about it at that time >_<.. So it was a long grind while I heard everyone blasting about their epic 300% exp :P In the end it was all an experiance, setting up my ui, my macros talking to the community it was great. My friend was a great influence and always supported me the entire way through which made things really easy, and helped with my busy schedual.. However, I had mid terms and didn't play at all until 2 days before the dark times... Patch 3.0.2... Well some preface.. I got a trojan, which after stripping my computer down I had hoped I had gotten rid of it.. So eager to play again, I log onto 2 of the 4 accounts with this computer... Immediatly I see so many things that are differant.. I spec what I had planned out and hit up the BG's.. I pretty much got 1 shot by everyone.. Warriors raped me with bladestorm/bladewhirl whatever it's called.. Paladins knocked me to 60% with their ret ability, and 3 shot my main. It was a frustrating experiance after feeling that even though I had little gear I was still able to compeat with these s3/s4 players.. I felt like I was a threat.. Some of them feared me :P I played really well before, and there was nothing I could do now..

And then, one of my accounts got comprimised.. Finally fed up with the trojan, I just finished reformatting my computer.. Of course, I didn't care to check if anything happened to my USB key, so when I wanted to xfer over a virus install from 1 computer to the new formated one.. It also got infected... AGHHHHHHH everything on both computer down the drain.. At least my keybindings/macros are saved.. The hacker didn't strip the characters armor, he simply took the gold, and sold any spare items in the inventory... It's all easily replaceable. I was more concerned whether he'd change my actionbars, macros, or keybindings haha.

So.. Really I'm glad I reached 70.. I guess I go to taste the golden nectar before this patch came.. Things are looking grim but I definately think I'll continue playing my 4 shaman team...

I did manage to play some arenas before the patch on tuesday.. We went 2-8.. We were really happy that we actually won some games.. With Aelli's guides and videos it was really easy to see what I did wrong.. He really makes things look easier than they are.. I thought that wasn't bad at all considering my gear (everyone else was full arena gear)..

So because I don't have any screenshots left over from reformatting..

I hope I continue to have more fun, and I hope to be more active on the forums again!!
70% done reformatting computer 2.. Gotta get my keyclone key authenticated again and we'll be back in business.. Now to finish that anal(ytical) chem assignment.. :(

For $7 you can prevent this from happening again, buy the authenticator from the Blizzard store.

Do you only need 1, or do you need 4 for 4 accounts?

I'm not really bummed about the account being comprimised.. Yeah I should have known better to log in, and luckily only one got hacked... But I was more bummed about getting completely wrecked 3.0.2 hahaha.. Still, minor setback, and I plan on coming back full force!

you only need one.

You only need 1. I have 3 accounts on 1, and two more accounts on another. All it takes is entering the number off the sticker on the back into the account setup. You can add it to as many as you like.

"This product can only be shipped to the United States."
Good game.. Maybe I'll check if it's available in stores.

Nevermind, there is another page dedicated to authenticators outside of the united states. :)

One will work. I have one for my 12 accounts. The only thing is it can get annoying to do things on the website since you have to enter the number each time you log in, unlike the game where you log in all at once. Definitely worth the money and the minor inconvenience.

i wonder how we can report a lost or broken authenticator if even logging into the WoW website requires an authentication key. this makes contacting them for a new one a bit more difficult.

you have to call customer service if for whatever reason you don't have the authenticator or it quits working. you'll need to verify with them that the accounts are yours with the secret question and such. Then they can remove the authenticator from the account.
