I have been reading these forums for some time, and i got the impression that Blizzard wasn't very strong in their approval of multiboxing. It just didn't seem to violate any rules, and no one got banned for it.
Then i saw this:

Hi Imabot,

Multiboxing is considered by us to be a legitimate way of playing the game, and is perfectly legal providing that all characters are controlled by the player.

I hope this clears things up for you.


It's the strongest straight forward approval i have seen from Blizzard.

excellent. that's the experience i have found as well

i just really wish they wouldn't remove the dates from posts

What do you mean by "remove dates from posts"? You mean on the WoW forum?

When I click through that link, I see "4. Re: Multiboxing | 16/07/2007 09:26:03 PDT " at the top of the blue post.

Did I miss something? Did you? :D

weirdness.. i just refreshed the page, which i still had in a tab which showed no dates... and the dates appeared.

ya gotta love it.
