I'm about to setup the multibox accounts, but was wondering if blizzard has nerfed the boosting aspect when bring in a 70 outside the linked accounts. Just wondering if anyone can answer if Blizzard has applied the changes along with this patch. Thanks in advance & yes I did search the other thread about it "being" nerfed just not a date of when.

time to boost some priests I think

edit: Does anyone feel if priest would be a good start to boost? I want to level shamans to get the feel of leveling multi-boxing as well.

boosting works fine. i've used an unlinked 70 warr to boost char's before and after 3.0.2

with new talents boosting is much easier! My prot paladin does pretty good damage now =)

Priests are ideal for boosting 1-25 and even higher if you have good gear. In fact, they may be even better now that Holy Nova is more efficient. They can't quite handle the entire instance like a Pally, but they kill much faster and fire-and-forget DoTs help with runners.

Slightly on/off topic, but yeah boosting works. Mage as full fire owns up cath now -- well even more so than before. living bomb someone way in the back of the room / dragons breath / instant flame strike / Firenova / another instant flame strike / couple of ae's and the cathedral is clear.

RAF has been nerfed

You no longer get 3x raf xp with a level 70 killing mobs for you. You still get the 3x quest turn in xp.

I took 4 linked accounts and a 70 mage in to stock and the level 15 toons did NOT get the xp buff. ; /

I thought you can't get exp if anyone to whom the mob is grey attacks it ....

boosting works fine. i've used an unlinked 70 warr to boost char's before and after 3.0.2So which is it? We have people saying it has and hasn't been nerfed.

Does an unlinked 70 negate the 3x exp?

I was getting the exp boost with my unlinked 70 pally right before the patch. So unless they changed this in 3.0, it still works.

Well I'm setting up the priests right now, I'll be using my mage that isn't linked to any of the accounts to boost them through RFC, so I'll report back within the hour on what I find.

For up to lvl 25 instances i believe a priest can now pull everything at once. I tested SFK last night and with a heavy disc spec and all the power word shield talents, I can blow it all up at once :)

I'm thinking Armory can now be done in 2-3 pulls with a priest.

the boosting is not nerfed, so blizzard hasn't applied the change yet, but can someone confirm on top of what, I've done. It was a rfc run!

70warr unlinked
sham1 linked to sham2,3,4 <- all getting 3x before and after 3.0.2.

The limit here is that the LINKED accounts all need to be in the correct level range for them to get the 3x boost.

I'm in WoW right now levelling a group of Priests and a second Paladin. RAF is working just fine. At level 1. With 70 Paladin in group, they're getting triple XP.
