Already have a 70 lock, what for a second character?

I am not into PVP much, so I am thinking a shadow priest. I am thinking of a setup that would actually completment each other and be playable in raid groups.

How would you go about leveling a priest from level 1 if you have a 70 lock to help out. Just do it the hard way and solo it?

Get to level 10 on the priest the normal way, then take him to Deadmines, park him within range of XP (move him now n then) and just run through on the lock dotting everything, or gather with the VW/Felguard then use SoC.

Once he's 15 you can access the next dungeon and so on all the way up to
50+ (do SM from 20-35ish then ZF or stay in SM Cath til 40+)

Get to 58 then hit outland :)

Welcome to the community. Work deadmines until 20 then go to SM till 35, then ZF till you get tired of it. Thinking Strat next for my team. I split one of my alts off to a third account so i now have Hunter-Mage-XXX

In deadmines, SM, and ZF you will have to be aware of the roaming patrols that spawn behind you. A bit harder on a lock than a hunter with tracking up. But it is predictable. I would generally clear an area, move the alt(s) up, then clear the next area.

I have been working my alts thru that path and now all 6 are 46. So far this method has been faster (played hours wise) than using Kopp's guide solo.

A lock should see similar results to my 70-hunter i would guess. Send me a message if you need to chat about it.

What about leveling a 25 warlock and a lvl 11 priest? Any ideas?

Well, with some experimentation I was able to go from level 9 to 13 in less then 2 hours. 1 level every half hour. That was basically all grinding and hardly no quests. In fact, no quests at all for the last two levels.
