For those of you have that haven't seen the new Drain Soul graphics yet, a picture

Ok first of all, I love the new chain lightning animation, but honestly the new drain soul animation is by FAR the coolest spell effect in the game. You have to see it in action to REALLY appreciate it, but I went ahead and quickly lined up for 4 of them for a screenshot while I ran through Jintha'Alor earlier. :)

Edit: Thought I'd add, the animation goes FROM the mob towards the player, looks badass :)

dont forget about drain life. awesome graphical change too.

i havent had the time to try out health funnel yet. *wonders how drain mana looks, and mind flay, chain heals, etc*

I didn't take dispersion yet (level60) because I've heard it's a little useless in PvE. But the new melty face mind flay is awesome!

I'm going to take some more screenshots tonight. Was going to do it last night but I was too tired.

I have 5 shamans and priest + 4 locks so I'll take a shot of chain lightning, chain heal, drain life, drain mana, etc.

Personally I don't really think the new drain life graphic looks that great - I guess better than the old one but theres nothing special about it. Drain mana looks crazy though, and chain lightning just looks amazing. Haven't tried chain heal yet. Fortunately I haven't been to org or shatt yet so I haven't even heard one of the new hunter pets :)
