Finally,
The new mighty patch arrives in town. We have to accept the fact it's very nice, but my vocabulary is poor enough so i really don't have the words to describe it.
Something comes in way to steal our happiness away. It's the huge incompatibility that keyclone and wow have. To be precise, keyclone is an outstanding prog so i don't really know if it's keyclone's issue or just the fact that blizz@rd made this up.
I have tried everything and the first 2 problems i face are these:
1) The Video> Resolution> Resolution [drop down menu] keeps stuck in making the wow windows go into maximum resolution at 1360x 768 (Wide). No matter how hard i have tried to change this, done everything. Even tried reset the maximizers to 800x600 resolution and then reset the resolution from wow to 800x600 and still keeps rolling back to 1360x 768 (Wide) no matter what. This is not bothering me at the moment, but would bother me as soon as i go into Av's, major towns, etc..
The second thing that is really annoying too is:
2) Hey! I double click on keyclone and wait to see 5 windows with the account names already wrote. Woops! No account name on any window. Tried everything (as far as my knowledge allows me to) and still no solution.
So here comes my questions. Is this the time for a huge reconstruct on keyclone? Maybe the new system of wow make this short of incompatible? Maybe a tiny patch would help this issue got solved?
Thank you all for your time readding this post and please drop a reply to tell if you have these problems too (or something else wich apparently i haven't yet came across)

You arn't going to get any replies because this is not happening to anyones else. Everything is working exactly the same before and after the patch.

I don't think it's just me. There are several reasons that may lead to my consequense. For example i'm using vista ultimate 32. Could be a reason. Who knows

It could even be the fact i have accept the question when a pop up asked me if i want to change the location of the game in order to avoid inconvenience.
It's no more part of my Computer > C: > Program Files > World of Warcraft.
The location is somewhere in users.

Well duh you have to point your windows to the right location of WoW.exe
i have not had a single problem. keyclone works exactly as before. i run vista 64bit. did you have youre data files symbolically linked or were you just opening one installation 5 times? because if for some reason you were asked to move the files as you said (i have no experience of this as it did not ask me) then the sym links may no longer be pointing to the correct location or something.

That is the very reason you're having the problems. It's a problem with Windows Vista using c:\users\.... and WoW is installed at C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft...
The problem exists with Octopus and Keyclone. What happens is that when you start the instances, Octopus and Keyclone are expecting the config.wtf to exist under C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF. However, World of Warcraft's base installation under Windows Vista expects the config.wtf file to be in C:\Users\(login name here)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF.
To fix your problem, just move the WTF, Interface and Cache directories from C:\Users\(login name here)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.
This is what fixed the problem for me with both Keyclone when I was using it for maximizer and now with Octopus' Maximizer.
And for those that are running the 64bit version of Windows Vista, use C:\Program Files (x86) instead of C:\Program Files

At the C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft the only folders i have are these:
Cache
Logs
Screenshots
WTF
and 1 file
Scan.dll.new
No Interface directory. Maybe i should just take the entire new location and put it back to c:program files>wrld of warcraft ?
Edit: the path where wow folder was placed by vista is this: C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft
There exists the folders WTF, Interface and Cache as well as all the other folders and files we know, including the launchers

Wish I had 1360x 768 (Wide), I have a 1920 X 1200 monitor and 9600GT and I dont even get the option for that resolution, either ingame or from the video card settings...
Spend good money for the best monitors and when I have to down grade the resolution so I dont get lag I have to go to 1280 X 960 bs instead of the much better 1366 X 768 widesceen video resolution. Bah. Now my cows look even more fatter ...
You have to log in normal without keyclone to do the EULA one time other wise their might be problems.

Yeah, I'm not getting any issues either.
Also, what's up with the asking to move your folder? I'm running Vista and I never saw anything like that.

Improper security or having UAC turned on without configuring the system properly will cause issues EVERY patch....

Improper security or having UAC turned on without configuring the system properly will cause issues EVERY patch....Is there any possible way i can turn the option in having wow in its original C:/Program Files/World of warcraft path?
Do i just grab the entire wow folder and drop it there or i have to check some option before i can put it there?

i had more problems reconfiguring my addons, trying to figure out which ones still worked and which ones needed to be downloaded, redoing my macros, redoing my talents, figuring out why some macros broke, and all that other stuff than any problems with keyclone or anything else related to multiboxing. actually, the only problem i got was resetting some keys after a button addon broke. that was it. targeting works, assets works, follow works, everything. ran around dual boxing like before.

I'm not having any problems with Keyclone either.
I'm not familiar with vista that much. Did you install everything with admin rights?

I ran heroics most of yesterday using HotKeyNet (and five machines, only one copy of WoW per machine). It worked fine.
Vista 64 (x2), Vista 32 (x2), and WinXP (x1) all ran WoW fine.
For all the Vista naysayers out there, I can't say as I've been having all these problems that others are having. Sure, there are a few annoyances (like the popups requiring admin rights), but if I really wanted to I could just turn that off.

And if I really wanted too, I could be a Barbie Princess!!! 8o
I don't think anyone was putting vista down. ;)
