Best Tri Boxing Combination - PvE

Hi all,

I´m new to dual-boxing.com, but have been Mbing for a while now (2 months or so). After 4 years of total boredoom in WoW, trying to fit others mmo´s and never feeling realized, i can finally feel the blood running on my veins... Oh boy, MB is AHELLLOTOFFUN!!

Introductions apart, i´d like to know what do you consider the BEST trio, with best sinergy, easy tanking and maximum dps for 3 manning instances. I tried 5 boxing, but i just felt it was too much.. currently i´m running a pally/druid/mage trio, which i think will be able to handle everything (even heroics). I´m taking the druid as a hybrid healer/dpser (at least until lvl 40-50 or so when things start to get harder). pally full prot and fire mage. Mana efficiency man be an issue, as ill be having longer boss battles, but nothing potions, evocation and innervation cant solve.

regarding DK tanking

In my expierence, a DK requires quite a lot of interaction. Keeping track of what runes are active, which abilities proc, possitioning is a bit harder etc. It's will be hard to figure out a good rotation that can work with the rest of your team, but not impossible. But one thing is sure, if you are able to pull it off to play with a DK tank, you just got yourself an extra dps'er in the team (seen some insane things in beta; 5-10k damage on each target within AE range). It's a path worth considering but certainly not the easymode the paladin offers these days.

I wanted to run instances by myself and got three accounts. While I could afford to 4 or 5 box, I want to see how far I get tri-boxing.

I started runing WC with 1xPaladin, 2xMages but just couldn't cut it at level 20. By level 22 I could almost clear WC but it was a major pain and I still died a few times.

Now I'm quickly leveling a Priest so I can have a Priest(Holy)/Paladin(Prot)/Mage(fire) group which will be slower but will certainly stop the group from dying so much, I hope. The palli is carebearing the Priest with blessings and healing, not to mention rezzing when I accidently dye. My priest is a killing machine that is easilly able to take on four at a time because of the healing of the Palli.

I wish there were more tri-boxing info in this site. Dual boxing is good for non-instance PvE questing but not for instances. I wonder if all these five boxers are just blindly following the five man group recommendation.

I've been leveling shadow priest/mage combo, Im sure another caster can be added very easly. I love this team, ist so much fun, they just dinged 70 :D. I run priest as a main, and mage on follow, there was no quest or horde that could stand up to my awesome power of two!
