I run the holy trinity setup of pally/resto shaman/3 elemental shaman but I went with this ('http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEh0qodetMxZ0xxc'). As you can see, this leaves 4 unused points which were used as follows: one went totem of wrath, one enhancing totems and one guardian totems with the extra points being put in improved shields.
My totem rotation is fire (totem of wrath, searing totem X 3), water (mana/health, still playing with ratio), air (wrath of air, windfury, grounding X 2) and earth (strength of earth, stoneskin, tremor X2).
With the loss of blessing of salvation, I put blessing of wisdom on my shammies last night for a heroic mana tombs run and other than drinks after deaths/wipes (no addons and still working on threat changes) I ran pretty much non stop and my pally did not need one drink thanks to the new blessing of sanctuary and stacking mana totems. However, it was a little disappointing to have my pally lead the damage chart all the way through (not dps, just overall damage). Guess it really doesn't matter if the job gets done but still...

Would you recommend that template as the foundation of a leveling spec Aradar? I run 4 shammies (L46 atm) with a friend's RAF linked same level pally, and have been mulling over my new talent spec since the weekend. So many of the talent specs assume already at 70 or assume pvp (I don't pvp).

I put all my talents into elemental on all 5 of my girls, and holy-be-jesus is Thunderstorm fun on a 5 toon casting sequence! I also gained about 300ish spell damage, thanks to flametongue and totem of wrath. I wish I had a SS or video of me breaking the turtle at Stormpike aid station this morning (Horde won one!). I still can't wait to meet some allies on the bridge and see if Thunderstorm knocks them off. Oh the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the forums would that bring :D

Yes.

I'd probably go something like this ('http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEh0qodItM'), then you could either pick up Lightning Overload or start heading into Enhancement. Personally, I'd go Enhancement for the static crit and spell damage increase over a proc like Lightning Overload.
In the end I will probably tweak mine some as I'm currently having no mana issues to speak of and Elemental Oath may end up being up enough with two speced for it as opposed to 3 but I'm not sure where that gets me other than more mana saving talents.

This is my first shot at it,
Shaman 1, Totem of Wrath Spec'ed
wowhead ('http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEz0qcdftGxot0xx')
Shaman 2-5, Fire Totem spec'ed
wowhead ('http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEh0qfdstRx0t0xx')
So far what I've noticed during the 2 hrs I spent running a few heroics:
1. Mana is not an issue at all. I had no bread/water and rarely did I have to stand around and wait for my mana to regen. In fact I don't think I went below 50% in combat at all. Watershield + mana totems stacking is OP I guess. Maybe its the 1sec regen ticks now, I dunno.
2. Was wondering without Lava Burst, is flame shock worth it now with the increased DOT? Maybe I'll put some points into Lava Flows for the +15 yards and test it out, the +15 should bring it up to 39 yards? LB/Chain/Flame shock combo 35+ yards out. That should work.
3. With 5x shamans elemental oath is up just about 100% of the time. If I want it up before a pull I just lesser healing wave a target with all 5 and it'll be up.
4. Thunderstorm is nice
5. I need some glyphs.
