Hello all first im new to multi boxing but the concept seems rather fun and exciting.

The past few weeks I have been two boxing on warhammer. and that was pretty fun and everything but I have chosen to try out Mutli boxing on wow. That being said Im trying to learn my limits on what I can and cant do and what is the best route to take in my adventure to max level. Im using Hotkeynet and its working pretty well my friend has helped me greatly by setting up the script and whatnot and now I am up and running fine. That being said I do have a few questions.

My set up

1 Laptop running 4 Wow clients

1 Main Rig running 1 Wow Client

I am using Jamba for mutlibox users as well as some other addons that have been told to me.

1. Is there anyway so that all of my characters will turn in the quest at the same time? No matter how hard I try trying to position all of my characters so that are looking at the same point on the screen that Im trying to click on well its a bit difficult. so right now I turn in my quest on my main and then just right click the quest giver in each window on the laptop

2. Currently right now I am having to target with my main hit X (bound to /assist Xpsi) and then attack.. Is there a simple way to "Cut out the middle man" That is to say get rid of having to hit X inorder to cast my spells. (Note I do plan on casting more than just lighting or chain lighting so im not sure if /focus is the best option for me)

3. Sure its a blast right now but will the enjoyment of WTFpwning crap fade after about 50+ levels?

4. Can someone point me in the direction of a good shaman guide IE (What totems to drop and who does what)

5. Does money become a problem? (I really dont plan on taking a profession because well it just seems to me that that would be a huge nightmare am I wrong? If so Please explain) this follows the idea of questing and doing dailies does this become more of a pain?

I have run out of questions thus far and im sure that I have have plenty more. I want to thank you for your time for reading and answering these questions. Again thank you..

At 60 I had no mount nor money to buy all my spells :p

You level insanely fast, 60 in 2,5 days played or faster

"WTFpwning" will still be fun after 50

Have a look for a leaderless setup on these forums, that cuts out your middle man and is very flexible. (It uses Keyclone instead of hotkeynet, sorry)

I still turn in quests by just open the Q window on each toon and then having my main select the options (Multiboxer addon makes your alts pick the same chat options as your main)

omg CumpsD, you make me amazingly thrilled to start

Still my new computer hasn't arrived yet so I'll just have to wait xD

Well blbjtb ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=User&userID=17638') ofc money becomes a problem when you need to share on five/four characters, even though you can farm amazingly fast, all dailys, no need to find groups, farm instances alone for specific drops and recepees, in TBC farm primals and in WotLK farm the new thing that will be farmable xD

Just 1-shot all the mobs infront of all other farmers is even worth more than all the gold for epic flyer ;)

My conclusion is that you will have more money at first but will soon be able to farm them just as fast, or even easier with the solo group thing that you will catch up :)

I make a macros for my spells so the toons assist when I use it. For example /asssit focus /cast fireball. This avoids having to hit a assist key after targeting with your leader and before you cast.

um, spelling assist right helps too. Can't edit my post for some reason.

Your follow button bound to:

/target Xpsi
/follow

Bind all your attacks to:

/cast [target=targettarget, harm] [] SPELL-GOES-HERE

So whenever you make your alts follow you, they will permanently target you, and when they attack they will automaticly assist their target :D

Get gathering proffesions of your choice on your main i think would be good, like if you got Herbalism and Skinning on the main, then maybe char no.2 has Blacksmithing and Leatherworking and you can just save all the stuff that you gather and when you have time send it and use it on that char and then it should not be that much of a hassle...

After about 50+ levels you are not far from top lvl PVP pwning!!! atm lvl 70 but later lvl 80, which is for many of us the main reason to start multiboxing :)

You really cant use someone elses "shaman guide" you must find out how you are playing, when I first hit 60 (was highest then) I followed tons of guides on how to PVP and so on but not until I tried my own ways I could compete with other good players...

I know you arent asking really for a "Class Guide" or "PVP guide" but tips for multiboxing but the best way imo is to try yourself and experiment with all macros that are avalible on this amazing forum

I started my first multi setup (1 pally 4 shaman) on a new (to me) server and let me tell you money is not a problem. Sure its a bit tough at first but the way i got around it was using auctioneer and collecting absolutely EVERYTHINg that dropped. After i got access to a capital city i just vendored all teh trash grey items and auctioned all the cloth and items i got. By the time i was 60 i had all spells full riding skill (still refuse to buy elekk mounts cuz they are ugly) and another 1k gold ontop between my chars. So my advice is "Let other people farm the gold and pay it to you for the items you collect" :)

Good luck with your team
