I just noticed this little gem:


Glyph of Mana Tide Totem (Req. lvl. 40) - Your Mana Tide Totem grants an additional Spell Power of each target's maximum mana each time it pulses.


Holy crap, so wait a minute.... if mana tide stacks does that mean if all my shaman throw out manatide we all get stacking spell power bonus? That will be so damn awesome!

I wonder how that works. My shaman are still little, so I don't know the class very well. So how long would you get the bonus I wonder? Would it stay up all the time you have mana tide? Would you have it only briefly, then have it renew on each tick?


Spell Power of each target's maximum mana Even if it is base mana at 70 that is what 4-5k? Even with just one that would be OP, depending on how the bonus actually works. Even if it is a timing issue where you only have the buff for a second you could work out the timing. If multiple stack!!! That would be crazy.

Anyone on beta able to test this out?

hmm there may be a mixup from what MMO-Champion wrote and the actual glyph. MMO-Champion is reporting it as spell power... however, wowhead has it as 1% more mana, which is lame.

oh and to answer your question, totems would have to be up for you to get the bonus.

I think the mmo-champion text is wrong, search for the item on this page. The link is the wowhead.com link with the 1% mana.
