Hello i recently just started getting interested in dual boxing. I tested using AutoHotKey and im hooked. Currently im only planning on using 2 accounts on 1 PC.

Now the problem im having is, is it possible to make it so my characters are standing beside eachother (moving both chars with the WASD). I heard Keyclone is better but since im poor atm i can't afford it so i have to settle with what i got.

You could do that with keybindings, however, you'll find that your 2 characters will start to drift apart fairly quickly. This is mainly due to latency from each client to the server. Autofollow is your best bet.

Is there a way for the second character to look towards the mob?

In Auto-follow, they should be facing the mob albeit probably just outside of melee range if your running straight up to a mob. WOW does not support a "face" type command that would turn your character to face a mob (If you ever played EQ, they had this feature, but WOW doesn't). You still have to manually turn your character towards the mob if he's not facing it.

As you play with autofollow more, you'll learn how to position your "main" character to get your clones to turn towards the mob when they move using the auto-follow macro. you'll see :D

So im guessing you sort of need to find a spot and just let your clones stay there and grind? seems like it will take awhile to get use to heh.

Not necessarily. For example: In my main team, my pally is the tank and leader. Pally runs up to X mob with Lock, Druid on auto follow via a macro (tied to my Q key). I commence to fighting X mob with my pally and start hitting my spell macro's for my druid and lock (these are bound to my F key for both toons). All 3 toons are facing the mob. X mob dies, hit the Q key (auto-follow), and run to the next mob...rinse, repeat.

This is just my configuration and others have different. As you get the hang of it more, you'll find out what works and doesn't work for your personal preferences.

Just stick your clone on follow and run around, as long as you approach targets that require your clone to move he will be facing the same(ish) way as your main.

Ok so i guess i just need to get use to moving towards the target but trying to face both chars at it. Im guessing range characters are the best for a starter?

i just started a priest/warlock combo, priest is the main, the warlock follows, both do ranged dps, burn the mob down almost before it get to me. lol
