Got Leather?

After arguing in many threads about how Leatherworking isn't needed I changed my mind and started collecting mats to powerlevel Leatherworking * 5. Along the way I made some mistakes. The first guide I looked at said I needed 200 thick clefthoof leather (so I needed 1k). Got all those together then I found another guide that said I only needed 40 pieces. SO i was left with 800 extra pieces. Oh well you win some you lose some.


I can't wait for tuesday to come so I can free up 2 more bank tabs that are full of just herbs to powerlevel inscription

I think moste multiboxers that have been 70 for more then 2 months can do the same showoff whit mats needed for the patch, i have 3 bank tabs and a full normal bank toon filled whit herbs

Nope, not sure why its showing up there. We had 1s in the gbank on friday but a guildie withdrew it.

Oh yea, tasty, i got auto-repair on, so does that mean it does repairs from gbank funds first and my funds 2nd? Or always from my funds?

And I would deposit money (was going to do that so it didn't look like I have money to spend on useless crap so I would actually save for epic mounts) but I don't think it would last very long in there...

I've loaded up for inscription as well but it's only occupying about 3/4 of one tab which is based off guides I have seen. Why are some of you stocking +2-3 tabs?

I found one guide and my goal was to get *2 the amount that they suggested. This way I wouldn't be scrambling for mats come tuesday. Also when I was stocking up on herbs they hadn't released inscription past 275. So I ended up grabbing a ton of Felweed and any other outland herbs I could for cheap.

The guide I was following was:

10 stacks of Alabaster-giving herbs (eg. 200x Peacbloom)
5 stacks of Dusky-giving herbs (eg. 100x Brianthorn)
5 stacks of Golden-giving herbs (eg. 100x Kingsblood)
6 stacks of Emerald-giving herbs (eg. 120x Goldthorn)
12 stacks of Violet-giving herbs (eg. 240x Blindweed)
19 stacks of Silvery-giving herbs (eg. 380x Dreamfoil)

Thanks for the reply. I believe I checked against that same guide but I did not collect double nor did I collect for 375-400 as most of what I've read says it will be easier to level those points with WotLK mats. As for on my main team, I have no collection skills as it is easier to grind money and buy then to collect so I currently have all the "production" professions and will be dropping Tailoring for Inscription. It does kind of suck seeing all those herbs/nodes I can't collect though and I don't really look forward to trying to sell cloth as just cloth. Making bags or items to DE is much more profitable. Hopefully, I can get my current team where I want them at 80 and invest some time in a second team to pick up some of these losses.

:O wtb! I started farming herbs ot level up 4 more alchemists but nearly killed myself out of boredom instead ;p (my theory is there will be a primal earth > water equivalent in wotlk)

i didet farm those herbs :) i had a nice chat whit some dwarf named Auctioneer Buckler, and he had those for sale in the last few weeks and we agreed on a good price

I am pretty close to dropping alchemy * 5. I haven't seen an upgrade to the stone that is really worth while. Having 4 hour flasks is cool but is is worth more than the leather working fur lining thing? I have said it before and I will say it again I don't think you need to look to professions to make you money.

Back to the inscription crap. I am seriously bummed that you can't mill purple lotus. WTF is this you would think out of all the herbs a freakin purple lotus would give you violet ink. I just hope this didn't mess with my stock of mats too much.

I just want to be able to logon, say to the vendor heres 100g worth of primals, I'd like 200g worth of primals in exchange, then log :)
