View Full Version : Starting 5-Boxing.. Pally/Shaman + WWW or MMM?

I'm starting up my first Multibox, going right to 5man...

I want to do instances...
I want to do Heroics...

I currently have a 70 (or close) Druid, Priest, and Warrior.

I was thinking of:

Pally (Draenei F)
Shaman (Draenei F)
Warlock (Gnome)
Warlock (Gnome)
Warlock (Gnome)

I really like the idea of running arround with Succy pets up with the Draenei Pally/Mage... :)
However i'm worried that I will not be able to do heroics with this group because of lack of CC.

I really dont want to do more than 3 classes (thats more than enough already)

Mage Mage Mage setup would have the nice bonus ports, drinks, and AoE (I'm multiboxing on one system, so I cant AoE attack with Blizzard... but AE would work just fine)

Basically, Can I do heroics with WWW + Tank + Healer... or do I really need MMM + Tank + healer

Are Felguards off tanking or Succubus enough CC for heroics?Felguards get squished fairly quickly, but Succubus can provide some decent Crowd Control. It'd probably make more sense to go Warlock, Mage, Mage, as you have a decent amount of DPS and great utility there. There is a great reason for *always* keeping a warlock in your group, and that is Soulstones. These are great for wipe recoverys.

I think i'm going to stick with my original plan of WWW for the simple reason that

1) I dont want to go with 4 classes.
2) I just like the Succubus and Female Draenei look so much alike :)

The added bonus with warlocks is (mostly) automated CC if you can get the process down. ;) Downside is after the 3rd CC, the succubus probably gets one-shotted. :P

5-Box isnt going to work till I either free up a second computer, or updgrade my processor..

Running 3 is nice smooth and easy... but 4 maxes out my CPU at 100% and I start having problems...

5 isnt going to work :(

Hmmm

I can take my Wifes unused 70 warrior and my Druid and make a 2v2 pvp team or something....

But I think i'm going to just 3 box 3 warlocks....

I'll need to think about it

Or wait till some money frees up (aka, after christmas or a raise)
