Well, I'm almost done with my clinical trial runs with different classes & I'm almost positive for some odd reason wanting to start with leveling hunters. 4 x hunters that is to be correct. I was wondering, after searching the broad spectrum of Google for macros regarding the different classes. I plan on leveling every single class x 4 or 5 & I have never been accustomed to the "world of macros".

Starting with hunters, I will be analyzing vyndree (sorry) hunter video, but I feel I will need more then that. I know the shot rotation won't be to hard, but managing the pets will. If I don't start hunters then I will be doing priests or shamans. Anyways, thanks in advance for the advice.

My advice would be to pick something other than hunters at first. The pet system is getting a total rewrite for WotLK (both hunters and locks are changing), and learning to operate 4 or 5 toons at once is hard enough, adding 4 or 5 pets is going to make it harder (not to mention ammo, feeding and learning skills). Make a cheat sheet for making macros from the stickies and wiki. Try not to use accented letters in your first batch of character names (till you are used to typing toon names over and over). Finally, learn to ignore spitting and comments.

So should I just got with the shamans or priests & run the hunters at a later date? I can see the point on that as you are right in pets changing & etc. Guess I could make like a wordpad cheat sheet I can refer to when I get lost. The wiki explained & didn't explain what each macro did so I somehow still got lost. Guess I will just copy & paste & trial & error from there.

Yeah, I plan on going on Illidan, so I expect alot of hatred against myself.

I actually hand write my macro cheat sheets :S I like to have em off the screen while I put em together. I would say get at least 20 levels and do a couple low level instances before you pop the hunter team. By that time you should have a better feel for what is going on and be better prepared for the hunters.

For some reason Macros come off as writing C++ or something. Guess I need to look at borders for a book on them or something.

macros are piss easy, no need to over complicate things.
