i got octopus working properly with my 2 accounts, all was well until I realized clicks weren't broadcasting. I followed the proper steps to setup maximize zones due to the lack of click broadcasting, but now I have a problem. it's not as if I have 2x windows taking up 2 halves of my screen, it's more like that except the start bar overlaps the bottom of bottom-most window, making it as if I'm not running wow maximized but rather just opened and in the background, which is causing very very low FPS, not to mention I can't do anything with my bars because the start tab overlaps it. Anybody have a solution?
Also, due to having to change the resolution in order to display both wows at once, all of my bars and things are out of whack on pre-established UIs. How can this be fixed? Ideally I'd love for this to work out, but dropping to 15 fps when my normal is 120+ and being unable to navigate things due to adverse effects from the resolution change is not something I can deal with.

click broadcasting won't be sensitive to maximizer settings, 3 requiments:
- the window is (c) to receive clicks
- click broadcasting is on
- the click combo is on the click list
the start bar naturally is on top of normal windows unless
- the taskbar option to stay on top is unchecked.. right click taskbar..
- the instance is set to topmost window
the fps is only limited by maxfps and maxfpsbk console settings which are options in the instance dialog...
and i dont know about scaling UI's since I work with 1 per screen, other than bongo's 3 lets me move everything :)

Thanks for that. I managed to get click broadcasting working properly, but I caught on to another somewhat related issue. Clicking + dragging the mouse as to turn is not broadcasting; is it simply that turning both characters via mouse swipes is impossible, or is there something I should know to enable this functionality? Ideally what I'm trying to do is dual-box 2 melee characters without having to rely on the clunkiness of /follow and trying to drag mobs around to the 2nd toon to get the range/positioning right. Essentially, I'm trying to get both toons stacked on top of each other, with one simulating the other's actions perfectly, so that when one is in range, the other is instantly in range, if a mob runs away, both toons will be following as opposed to one standing there like an idiot while the main one I'm controlling chasing it down. To do this, I *could* rely on keyboard turning but I'd really like to not have to do that.
Edit: The other reason I'm so desperate for that functionality to...well...function, is to streamline things like quest acceptance (to which I know the alternative is sharing + an accept macro) and turn-in, and things like dragging buttons around.
Also, no need to worry about the resizing windows portion of my original post. Now that I realize I can indeed broadcast clicks in full-screen on one character that is no longer a necessity to me.

none of the apps will allow you to mouse look/turn, i have thought abuot it and it's just difficult and could be quite error prone to code... using modified arrow keys is what i do.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/turn-in.aspx <- turn in
those addons both have all sorts of quest helpers.. so does automaton.

Awesome, ty. Two questions: What can be done to streamline double melee combos (namely the issue of having 1 stand around stupidly waiting for the mob to be in range, which is particularly bad when certain mobs run away)? Also, the turn-in mod; does it do what I think it does? What I'm hoping is that it'll make it so I don't have to tab back and forth to turn quests in and that it would direct one to turn in what the other has turned in, but that is just wishful thinking on my part.
You abuse me on bliz forums, then came here and ignore everything said.
If you read what I said, your questions have been answered, or can easily be found if you bothered looking.
Most I would wish luck.... not you buddy.
