Hi there!
I want to "dualbox", so i bought a 2nd account for WoW/BC und 2licenses of Keyclone, so i should broadcast keystrokes from my mainPC to my laptop via lan

So i connected with my laptop to the main PC -> seems to work, in die KCwindow is the ip address with a ping pending or so

At the screen (KCmainPc) there is only the "World of Warcraft" window in it.
But no keystrokes were cloned :/ (not in WoW, and not in windows)

could someone help me plz?

Welcome Topmania.

When you say "i connected with my laptop to the main PC-> seems to work" are you saying you connected it directly to your PC or are you using a router?

"in die KCwindow is the ip address with a ping pending or so" - not sure exactly what your trying to say here. Would you mind clarifying a little
:D

Hi Topmania! welcome to dual-boxing.

first, make sure your file walls allow connectivity between the 2 machines. the ip and port of each keyclone is in the title bar

when you want to connect, put the ip:port of the other keyclone into the command box and hit 'connect'. if the other keyclone doesn't show and entry, odds are your firewall is blocking. no worries, you can try a STUN... basically, on your main, type the ip:port of the clone and hit connect... so they are both trying to connect to the other.

this will sometimes confuse a firewall into thinking a proper response is coming in, and it will let it through

once connected, make sure you have your wow games running... and when you type in one window, you should see it in the other. (hitting spacebar to jump is a common first test)

i hope this helps. have a great night,

Rob
