Question Regarding Disappearing Toons while Multiboxing

About once every 2 hours or so while multiboxing one of my toons disappears from the rest of the toons. I can still play him, but all the other toons stay in the same position from that toons point of view, however in actuality they are still moving in their own instance of wow. Does that make sense? Anyone else had this problem?

Only way to fix it is log out and back in - any other ideas or way to fix not requiring logout - tried /console reloadui as well and that didnt work.

I had this problem when I had my Hearthstone linked to the same button for all 3 shammies. Sometimes when I hearthed back to where I was going my main would be gone! I now hearth one at a time and haven't seen the problem since... :)

I too have this issues from time-to-time and its almost always caused by a connection / communication issue. Relogging is usually the only way I fix it. Of late, its been happening to 2-3 of my characters at about the same time. Sometimes I can run out of range and run back, but this does not always work.

Just tell your clones to stay put and ride your main off. Once the clones are off the minimap return and all will be normal again. No need to log out and back in :-)

That's a good tip anti, faster than mine, which was to /reload all my windows, which wasn't always successful, sometimes I had to relog anyway.

More info would be nice - I had the same problem but only with my main and only when hearthing x5 at the same time.

All I do now is hearth x5, then stop my main by moving him slightly, then when the clones are at 5s left I start the hearth on my main again - haven't had the problem since and its been months now.
