After multiboxing so long I can never go back to 1 toon. Tonight only 1 of my shamans made it into our premade av. While the other 4 sat out I plugged along with my lonely shaman. After boxing so long I am use to things going down fast. Spamming my single LB and watching small bits of health go down on stuff made me sad. I have been spoiled and can never go back. Thanks for the addiction dual-boxing.com

I'm in the middle of a downhill financial slope, and my secondary account ended up running out of pre-paid game time a full 6 days before my primary accout. I gotta tell you, running around as one character really does get me down. I can't wait for my finances to pick back up so that I can get back to multi-boxing. I plan on buying a new pc, or a few new pc's and starting up my first five-box team.

Back to the topic, I would hate to go from 5 shamans down to 1, ahahaha, that's gotta suck. I sympathize. I too can never go back to a single toon. After boxing, it doesn't feel right.

Hahaha, that's smart! I got my 5th account while thinking "I'll level this tank with RAF, then move it to my main account and stop using that 5th account" ... you probably already guessed that freezing the 5th account never happened :P

For WotLK I'm going to try to pick up raiding again with my warrior,
but from previous experiences I'll probably end up taking corners like a dump truck and pressing my nuke and follow button all the time.
It helps to singlebox a different class tho :p

Back to pure singleboxing,
No Thanks
Multiboxing will remain for offdays
:D

Can i have your druid? ;P

I have gone back to solo boxing for the most part. Leveling a tankadin has been a lot of fun. I am enjoying this style of playing as I have always been DPS. It's a lot of fun tanking instances (unless its a GD pug >.<) I never have a lot of problems finding groups for reg instances and heroics. I just wish I had done this 6 months ago, I am in the best tanking blues you can get, but no one seems to want to take a chance of bringing someone in blues to kara... iirc I did the original kara in level 60 gear! When Shade was a huge cockblock and you had to use consumables to win. ;P

I will go back to boxing after I get into a decent guild @ level 80. It will be my side project and then take over after a while. Nothing will ever compare.

Oh my goodness same here.
The other day I offered my pally as an offtank because she's getting to the point she can handle it in Kara, but instead they had room for a DPS.
So I brought one shaman, which is usually one of four behind the paladin.
We were there for 5 hours. I never once stood still or stopped jumping in between fights. I don't think I'm cut out to just stand around and do nothing.

Then last night a friend asked for a run through Durnholde, and I had to only 2-box it! This time I was tanking and playing healer with an elemental. She did okay but what a horrible experience. I had to kick my shaman at the end so an offspec ret pally could some in and heal for the last fight! I just couldn't swing it with mana and positioning and all while waiting for this team of 66-67s to take up the DPS.

This must be why I have not seen you forever.

I will quit the game before i would go back to 1 characterI could not agree anymore. I said to myself that "everynight i will be dedicated to farming 100g for my grandmammoth mount when i get into northrend."
That lasted about 3 days because my hunter is the only level 70 right now.

It was so boring, i was like "ugh this is actually taking me more then three button clicks to kill something."

And you have to remeber i only tribox, i cannot imagine what its like fo ryou guys that do 5 to 10 boxing and go back to 1 character that would be awful

I will quit the game before i would go back to 1 characterWhen I'm not boxing, I'm healing on another char. I doubt I could stick with a DPS class solo, heh.

I don't mind going back to one character. Especially if it's my level 62 moonkin. Great fun.

The multibox teams are what I concentrate on, but i love doing instance runs with the small friendly guild I'm in.

4 manning instances at the right level can be fun when you know the people you are running with.

I won't give up multiboxing though. That's where 90% of my focus will be.

My druid's name is Shenlong. He doesnt get on much. Watching 3 LCD monitors I tend to miss lots of stuff. I prob missed the bonks.

and to think the reason i started playing MMOs was because it was cheaper than buying console after console plus all the games

but with WoW... i don't regret it so far

multiboxing is like heroine (i guess...).
Can't go back either, for the low lvls at least. Raiding i a grp between 60 and 70 where the chemistry is right is still great.
But i caught myself thinking 'bout playing with 1 toon for a while, at least for pvp. They hate the multiboxers there.

I can't go back to single-boxing, no way. Part of the reason I started multiboxing is because I was unsatisfied with having to look for groups and settle for whatever I got, or join a guild and settle more officially, plus endure the pestering to raid when the time came, and even better, to be gkicked after the odd week or two of inactivity. Leaving all that behind as a multiboxer, I've hit every pre-Outlands 5-man instance without having to LFG a single time, I never have to wait for anyone to show up or worry about anyone dropping, and my guild bank is crammed to the gills and I don't have to beg anyone to send me a tiny fraction of what I've donated to others. Single-boxing is no longer even a consideration for me!
