Hello!

I am new with all this multiboxing and I need some help :)

I am boxing 2 hunter toons. Everything works great so far except for melee attacks.

Each time my slave goes in melee mode he loses master-follow and I haveto reclick my macro each time so the slave follows again.

The macro im using atm for melee is:

#showtooltip
/target [target=focustarget,harm,nodead][target=party1target,harm,nodead]
/stopmacro [noharm][dead]
/startattack
/cast Raptor Strike
/castrandom Mongoose Bite, Disengage, Wing Clip

How can I fix this so the toon goes auto-follow after each kill/attack without messing up everything :)

Jamba, auto follow after combat.

Or many other mods that do the same thing.

Or, you can just disable "auto-switching" in your WoW UI so they won't auto-melee when the target gets too close.

Bottom line, though, is that you'll have to refollow after every aimed shot,* steady shot or melee attack. It's just the way wow works.

* Note that aimed shot may be changing to instant and, as such, may not break follow. We'll have to see how it goes live with the patch next week.

Jamba, auto follow after combat.

Or many other mods that do the same thing.I use twobox toolkit mod and I experience the same problem, even if in the twobox toolkit I enabled Sticky Follow. Now I just have to remember to hit the button as I loot the corpse, once you get used to it, then you kinda do it automatically.

Even after setting up Multiboxer v2 a few months ago I still hit my 0 key after every combat. Now it just casts water shield, for a while i was drinking health pots which got expensive!

I just have a macro set to /follow Name , then /assist Name

I just smash it during every fight

If you're going to do a /follow Name, you'd be better off with /follow party1. This will target your party leader and is therefore more flexible. If you change leaders, it works. If you use it for other groups, it works.

Just my 2 cents...

I have quite some expierence in this field,
I tri-box rogues and obviously everything a rogues does would break follow.

On everysingle one of your moves your going to want to do
/assist Focus (or persons name, w.e)
/cast (melee move)
/follow Focus

for me it's
/assist focus
/cast sinister strike
/follow focus

Its good to do this even if you have an addon that makes your party follow you after every fight (like Multiboxer v2 found on these forums). The reason you want to do this is because
if you need to move mid fight your going to want to have your slaves follow you to finish it off or change location if you dont leave combat.

in your case, you might just want to smack a /follow at the end of the macro, anyhow best of luck.

Multiboxer v2 pwns all. It needs help for WotLK, though. It seems to have GUI issues in the beta test.
