View Full Version : Ever feel like you rolled the wrong team?

I made a logical choice to start a 3 class team so that I had a large number of options to bring in to instances with my guild.
I've levelled a hunter, priest and warlock team to 21 (only wasted 8 hours doing so) but I realise that I really shouldn't bother.
I originally was going to level 3 druids, RAF a 4th to join my level 62 druid.
Over the weekend I respecced my druid to a moonkin and quickly got together some nice caster gear and love my druid more than ever. I've been running Hellfire ramparts and blood furnace with my guildies (4 manning) and the moonkin is a great addition.
Now whenever I think of my current lowbie team I just think - "But they're not druids".
So tonight I'm gonna RAF up a druid to 20 (so the levels aren't wasted), and roll a 3 druid team and boost them like mad.
I'm looking forward to some BG action - 5 druids stealthing up on the enemy and moonfire/starfiring them down. (I won't arena with this team). Stealth runs will be great too.
So what teams have you rolled that you regret?

I Always feel that ive picked the wrong gender..... like my undead mages(female, WHY GOD WHY DID I DO THAT!!!!) and my belf pala (female, looks okay when meleeing, but looks stupid as hell when casting....) Im just so happy about noggen fogger and fishs :):):)

Well this yet another reason to roll druids.
Just keep them in one of the animal forms. :)
My guild gave me grief for my 62 druid. His haircut looks like a dead seagull strapped to his head, so I either hope that my headpiece covers it or I run around in one of the forms. (My poor druid is getting quite a complex about it).

and my belf pala (female, looks okay when meleeing, but looks stupid as hell when casting....) Im just so happy about noggen fogger and fishs :):):)My Belf Pally is female too. I wanted a horde pally so no options on race I figured, as a straight guy, if my toon is going to be attracted to guys it might as well be straight like me too.
IMO male elves, both types, are stupid looking. The NE are over masculine, as if they are trying to make up for something. The way they strut around drive me insane. The BE's went too far in the opposite direction I think. The first one I rolled, in the TBC beta before the model change was named Sissyboy just becasue that was my impression of how they looked.
To the OP. I have RAF'd up hunters, druids, shaman & mages. I love locks and was working on my 3 lock 1 priest team wehn RAF started. I shelved them to do RAF but wished I had RAF'd a set up, I really like locks, I have 1 70 already. I am going to try and rush some up before my RAF runs out.

Whilest I never felt i rolled on the wrong realm, I loved the realm, the battlegroup I was in was just the suckiest ever (severely inactive).
I solved that by migrating, I made a choice between a server filled with friends but sucky pvp or a server with a few friends but decent pvp. I chose the latter because in the end, PvP is why I rolled these toons in the first place. :P
Friends come and go, PvP is forever! *cough* >.>
As for the set up. Never regretted it, not one bit. :P (That said, I have played the shaman class for a very long time solo as well, I always loved the class. The diversity, the power.. Mrawr)

A wise man once said
"You can only regret the things you never did"
Every character I rolled in my singleboxing days gave me some experience of how the class works which I've been able to use in my favour, whether in PvP or in PvE.
Every team I rolled gave me more experience with boxing and making macros more efficient.
I regret nothing.

Kind of...
I originally was just going to dual box. Then the bug got me and I thought "if 2, why not 4" and bam. Problem is I had gotten 2 shammies to 23. I didn't want to pay for BC on the 2 new raf accts, so i went with 2 mages. I constantly wish I had either 4 mages or 4 shammies. It gets too confuisng trying to mix n match toolbars/spellcasts/heals/ etc... "whats useful enough to keep? What can I do without?" at least with 4 of same type toon, the answers would be universal. Other than that, it IS fun. One is frost, so mobs get to me very slowly, one is fire mage, and 2 elemental Shaman. Fun Fun.

Wrong team? no. Wrong gender? Yes >_< I made 4 shamans + druid, main shaman is male and the rest are all female. I had the intention if getting them to 70 then swapping out male shaman for male pally but I just dont like playing female chars =/
