So, I was working on setting up a five-box team. Most of them are Blood Elves so I summoned my Troll and Tauren to the BE starting zone. I hadn't realized that Trolls start out neutral with BE's. Is there an easy/quick way to get that rep up so I can start on the newb quests with my group? Or do I just ditch the Troll?

Thanks.

the only way to get your rep up is to quest and kill monsters that provide rep with that faction. If you talk to a blood elf NPC and you aren't able to get any quests than your probably better off doing a different starting area.

This isn't a rep problem. As far as I know, only bloodelfs can start those BE starter quests. I had the same problem with my mixed racial group. Since I couldn't do the BE starter quests, I did the undead starter quests instead. When you reach level 5, the BE quests at falconwing square become available and those can be started by any horde race (even though you're still neutral with the bloodelfs).

Starter (i.e.: under level 5) quests are not available to other races. Get your guys to 5 or 6 and then run 'em over to the new area.

Undead are the only race that start off friendly with Blood Elves, and vise-versa.

Thanks for the replies. I am pretty sure my Tauren was able to do the very first BE quest. I know my dwarf and night elf were able to them all in the Draenai starting zone (just not the Draenai specific ones). Well, guess I will try an Orc and then if that doesn't work a new zone.

Cheers.

Nope, I was wrong...my Tauren didn't have the quest either. Guess I hadn't noticed at first.

Ah well, back to the drawing board.

Thanks again!
