Ok I'm looking for a pc maker that you KNOW out of the box will work with Vista 64 installed, and by work I mean no BSOD, no crashes, etc. I don't have a price range, but obviously paying 4k or more for a computer is a little ridiculous. I'm looking for a quad core cpu, 8GB premium ram, nvidia gx2 card, and the rest is filler (maybe an SSD since I 5box on one computer.) Any suggestions? I'm looking for people who own or know someone who owns a vista 64 computer with a good reliability. Thanks for help peoples!

edit: CyberpowerPC is out, brother has it and his crashes. Alienware seems to be out too, cant find where they offer 8GB ram. FalconNW is out based on price alone, lol.

Ok guess I will start with some computer builds and maybe someone can provide critique.

Computer 1(from CyberpowerPC, sigh):
PS is 950W
$3232.00
(before all applicable rebates)
CASE: New!! NZXT Khaos Black Full Tower 420W Case w/ Side Panel Mesh
CPU: (Quad-Core)Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.0GHz 1333FSB 12MB L2 Cache 64-bit
MOTHERBOARD: (3-Way SLI Support) EVGA nForce 790i SLI Mainboard FSB1333 DDR3 PCIe x16 SATA RAID w/ USB2.0, & 7.1Audio
MEMORY: (Req.DDR3 MainBoard) 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Memory Module OCZ-Gold
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB 16X PCI Express (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)
VIDEO CARD 2: NONE
VIDEO CARD 3: NONE
LCD Monitor: NONE
HARD DRIVE: Extreme Performance (RAID-0) with 2 Identical Hard Drives (300GB (150GBx2) Gaming Western Digital Raptor 10, 000RPM SATA150 16MB Cache WD1500ADFD)
Data Hard Drive: NONE
Optical Drive: Sony Optiarc BR-5100S 2X Blu-Ray Player (Black Color)
Optical Drive 2: (Special Price) LG 20X DVDR/RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER (BLACK COLOR)
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO

Computer 2(from FalconNW):
FragBox $3004
PS is 750
8GB ddr2 800mhz RAM
Q9550 quad core 2.83Ghz cpu
ATI HD4870x2 gpu
250gb WD 7200 RPM drive
now I plan to add RAID 0 150gb velociraptors and an OCZ 30GB SSD drive to this if I take it and that would add 180X2 and 185. bringing total to 3549. I realize this isnt as fast as the CyberpowerPC, but I'm hoping the tech support and build of FalconNW makes it worth the price.

Any thoughts?

If you want someone to build the computer for you, check www.ibuypower.com to compare price as well. Always shop around.

Ya, I'm familiar with them, however they seem a direct ripoff of cyberpowerpc's website (layout is eerily similar). However I don't know who came first, so maybe Cyber is ripoff of them. Anyways they both run about the same price. I'm in a conundrum in that I can either choose the cheap builder(cyberpower) or the expensive customized builder(falconnw). I would hope that the extra money spent at Falcon meant a more polished product, but I could easily be wrong.

Another suggestion that I forgot, is the Infamous systems. I know he was planning on building specific rigs for multiboxers that were lower in price, don't know what the high end ones cost.

I'll check that out, thanks!
