Email notifications?

Just curious if it's possible to get email notifications for the threads I am interested in in case they have any new posts? So I don't have to go on the forums to check.

Not sure but I believe the add to favourites button is what you're after at the bottom of the thread.

I like to keep a window open and mash F5 every once in a while lol :P But check your profile settings.

Yes, I can access favorites from my profile and see if there are any new posts there. However email notifications are more convinient, so I won't have to check the forum periodically to find out if there are any new posts. It's the usual feature on most forums nowadays. I just couldn't find it here.

Ok, here is how you do it. Go to 'My Profile' at the top of the browser, click on 'Settings' then on 'Communication' (it appears below settings). The last option is 'recieve email notifcations about your favourite threads'. So in a thread you like, click on the 'add to your favourites' (located below the last post to the right) and if you have an email addy in your profile, you should recieve emails.

Huh, explains it. I tried out favourites for a bit but kept getting email notifications so I didn't bother lol :P
