action bar mods

Prior to my recent dive into multiboxing, I was running Bongos3 for the action bar mod... and frankly, I was being lazy. I had 2-3 inches of screen space filling the bottom of my screen w/ bars.. even at 1920x1200 that is just way too much. So, I removed most of my mods and am starting over. One thing I noticed is that Bongos is no longer under development, so I started looking at alternatives. Many pointed to Bartender3 (and modality w/ it) and I'm in love with the functionality modality provides it...

However, I'd found a slight snag. How does one bind keys to bartender buttons other then what's on bar1 (which is setable from within the games key bindings interface)?? Is it only doable via manually setting the bindings? If so, does anyone have a sample of how to set them?

in the WOW keybindings menu scroll nearly to the end and you'll see were you can change the binding for bars 2-10or12 can't remember atm.

i use trinitybars, and all i do is, while in button edit mode, scroll over the button, hit ESC, then hit the button i want to link it to. its probably just as simple or even simpler with bartender.

@elsegundo ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=User&userID=15093') - yeah, it's similar in Bongos, but it seems bartender relies on the built-in key binding interface that comes with wow for settings keys.

Don't get addicted to Bartender3. The author is not maintaining it and he's stated it WILL break when the expansion comes out. He does have Bartender4 up and running which he plans to support beyond expansion.
