I have 2 druids that I am trying to duel-box and I have read these
forums but the whole hotstring thing is still very confusing. What are
some of the commands for hotstrings? I understand anything "s." is a
script and I dont know how to write any of those, but I can make focus
macros and have made macros from what I have seen on here
(attack/heal/rez macro, follow macro, assist macro). I like keyclone,
but I still am unable to fully grasp it because the guides assume I
have some background knowledge when in fact I'm a complete f-ing noob.
Even the beginning guide was troublesome for me, I got everything up to
"by default, any key that is mapped by the active clone will be ignored
by all other clones that do not have a mapping for it. check here for a
more in-depth discussion: hotstring faq." I dont know what to write as
a hotstring, and the other example gives "0 - test" as an example.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Just take 100 steps back. Start with the easy stuff.

Begin with
/follow (main char name)

/assist(main char name)
/cast (whatever spell you like)
(Type this in the screen you see after you typed /macro, and place it as a button from this window to your wow UI, and bind a key to it ..done!)

This is the simple way to start multiboxing if you have keyclone. If you can't get this to work, you and dual/multi boxing will never get friends so move on to another hobby.

If you have this working, you will find your self adding more stuff as you go untill you get the hang of it. There's is NO way you can start and run out of the box in 1 evening.

Good luck! And keep searching the forums and thott/wowhead/google/curse

whoa. agree. take 100 steps back.

if you TWO-box with keyclone, then hotstrings is a bit much. i can see how this would be useful for a 5-man group doing pvp, but for you, especially when you're a "f-ing noob", then i think its best to just either assist the main, or targe/focus the main.
