Hello all,

Just wondering if someone could explain the refer a friend feature, eg. how too grant levels, the mount etc.

Curently i have a 19 shaman(veteran account) and a 19 mage(recruited account)

I've looked on the blizzard Refer a Friend FAQ, but it does not tell you the process of granting levels etc.

Thanks in thought,

wombat

I have yet to do it but your mage should be able to right click on the shaman and grant level. The option may not be there or be grayed out since the shaman is the same level and you can only grant to lower level characters.

Since i havn't received my zebra mount yet, i cannot tell you about that.
What i do know about is the Grant Level feature.

Account A recruits account B
Account B levels a character to 10

By now, account B has 5 free levels to give out to a character on account A, which has to be LOWER level than the character granting the levels.

Granting levels is as easy as right clicking the friends player portrait and clicking 'Grant Level'. The one who recieves the level has to accept the level before recieving it.

Hope it helped!

Once the new/friend/referred account has paid for 2 months subscription, log on account management on the old/referring account. Under the refer-a-friend tab of account management, you'll be able to see the status of the referring account and what gifts (if any) you've earned. If the mount icon is there, you can click on it to choose which server, then which character on that server, will get the mount. After you confirm your selection, the mount will instantly appear in that character's mailbox. It, and the box it comes in, is BOP so it cannot be transferred in any way.

If you've just purchased the accounts, the only way to get the mount 'early' is to use prepaid game cards. That subscription time will be attributed to your account (and towards the referral) immediately, whereas if you use the standard credit card subscriptions, the months purchased will not be credited until they've actually been charged. You'd have to wait the initial 30 days to be over, then purchase a 3 month subscription to get credit or wait 60 days from activation (30 original days, + 1 month recurring subscription and its first renewal).

The mount seems to take a couple of days to show up, even when you cash in the 2 month card right away.

To grant levels you need to be in a group and close together.
