Am i missing something here?

Hi I would like to purchase KeyClone but when I go on their website it does not have a link to where i can actually buy it.

Sorry for the question if it appears silly, but any help is much appreciated.

This is a serious question by the way, I dont know whether im having brain freeze or not but I dont actually see a 'purchase' link on the site.

If you download and install the client (http://solidice.com/keyclone/db/keyclone_current.exe) it will then prompt you to purchase a license via Paypal.

Ive downloaded it, all that happens is my winzip tries to unzip and then thats it. No prompt or anything :S Maybe im missing something blindingly obvious here :s Thanks for the help so far though.

Yes, you're missing something. Go to the keyclone site and read the FAQ entry that says "I downloaded keyclone, but it's not active."

Thanks for that, I've already done that. What im saying is I dont get the license prompt. :)

Ah, gotcha. Thought you were just unzipping it and forgetting to run it. :P PM "Keyclone" here on the forums. I'm sure he can get you working.

You will be prompted with a window informing you the license is expired and it will provide a link 'get license'. Click it.

Thanks for that, I've already done that. What im saying is I dont get the license prompt. :)When you run keyclone if you don't get a license prompt you are one of the few who are having conflicted keys. Keyclone has a fix in the works for this, so it should work fine until then and then will stop working and require you to buy it.

i have vista, and i had problems at first too not being able to unzip it, had to right click and run as admin and it let me go thru, didnt' know if this was your problem as well, but thought i'd throw it in here incase anyone searched this problem adn hit this thread.

yah i downloaded keyclone from the tab at the top of the page. been using it for a few months now and have never been asked to pay for it. is it a bug? not that im complaining or anything :)

Keyclone has been working on a way for his licensing system to differentiate different computers of the exact same model so someday you will have to pay to keep using it.
