Ok guys, hopefully people not coming will be able to resist voting on this poll but just in case could people coming post their option in here as well as vote please :)
I'm going to list the resaturants at Garden Walk ('http://www.anaheimgardenwalk.com/dining/?gid=3') but I'm thinking that Bubba Gumps and McCormick & Schmicks probably shouldn't really be included as they seem to be very limited in options to a heavily seafood-based menu and some people may have allergies or a dislike of seafood so I'd rather see a more encompassing menu chosen.
I didn't vote because I'm fine with any of them. My main concern is where we are going drinking afterwards? :)

Only place i've tried from that list so far is the cheesecake factory in Waikiki.
So i voted for it.
What are the other places like?

Cheesecake Factory is ok. Food is ok, nothing spectacular, mixed menu, kind of mom and pop food.
Do we have a time in mind? I won't be available until 7ish.
PF chang's- American Chinese food
Pizza Kitchen - upscale pizza
Bubba's - seafood
Never been to McCormick's or Roy's

Do any of them take reservations? It seems like we'll have a pretty large group.
Also, menus in case people are curious:
Bubba Gump ('http://www.bubbagump.com/menu.html')
California Pizza Kitchen (pdf) ('http://www.cpk.com/menu/cpk_menu.pdf')
Cheesecake Factory ('http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/menu.htm') (horrible website)
McCormick & Schmicks Grille (pdf) ('http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/media/Sample%20Dinner%20Menu_updated.pdf')
P.F. Chang's (pdf) ('http://www.pfchangs.com/pdfs/menu.pdf')
Roy's (pdf) ('http://www.roysrestaurant.com/pdf/pdmenus/Anaheim.pdf')
Roy's is on a slightly higher price point, in the $25-30 per dish range. The rest are in the $15-20 range.

I voted for Cheesecake because they have the broadest selection of food. There are plenty of veggie options and food from almost every style. They may not make the best in any given style, but their menu is huge and chances are that everyone will find something they can and want to eat.
Additionally, I think we need to plan an In-and-Out burger run at some point as well. You can't be near LA without getting a double double from the In-and-Out.

I have to assume that Chang's, and Bubba's will take reservations and have bars. No idea on McCormicks or Roys.
Not sure if TCF does RSVP. I also don't know that the Cheesy Factory serves alcholic cheesecakes, but maybe you guys and gals can spike one or two for your own personal entertainment. ;)
I vote that anyone who is going to be in Anaheim earlier in the week make the local phone calls to find out more info and if they can hold a group of 18?!?! I think the number of people might limit our choices a bit.
I agree TCF has the most food options, no worries.

I shall have to depend on Vyndree to call me for the bars lol

I'm creating a list of phone numbers for said purpose. ;)
I voted for the Cheesecake factory -- if only because their menu is basically the size of a novel and if you can't find something to eat there, you're too picky to eat anywhere. ;) From what I've seen in Seattle as well, they have a decent vegetarian section for anyone who has specific dietary preferences.

See, this is why I <3 you Vyn.
On a seperate note are we planning on going to any nice nightclubs or are we looking at the casual pub and bar scene as I wonder if I should pack club clothes (crosses fingers as hasn't gone club clothes shopping since getting deployed)

In-n-Out burgers and any Albertos-style Mexican Fast Food for Carne Asada Nachos are a must-eat on any trip to LA.
In-n-Out has the wierdest french fries anywhere: fresh potatoes peeled and cut before your eyes, cooked in vegetable oil that has not been used for chicken nuggets or fish sticks. By the end of the box, you will have a new favorite. Their burgers are also absolutely delicious: all fresh ingredients: real lettuce leaves, fresh sliced tomatoes, raw or grilled onions, never-frozen meat. And get their pink lemonade to drink.
Carne Asada nachos are french fries piled high with shredded cheese, sour cream, carne asada (diced marinated steak), guacamole and sliced olives, completely filling a large styrofoam take-out container. A few places will add beans and salsa, too.
In-n-Out Directions: http://www.in-n-out.com/location_details.asp?template=route&transaction=route&origcountry=us&destcountry=us&id=24&destRecordId=24&origaddress=800+W+Katella+Ave%2C&origcity=+Anaheim%2C&origstateProvince=CA&origpostalCode=&x=103&y=3
Mexican Food directions: Not sure, but look for any 24 Hour Mexican food place. Must be dirty and have a hand-written menu. The less english they speak, the better your food will be.

btw you can get just about anything extra on your burger (not counting meat/cheese) for free.

If you go to In-n-Out, order the Animal Fries! Basically, it's their fries plus grill onions, cheese, and the sauce they put on the burger. You can order your burger animal style too, which means it comes with grilled onions. If you're realy hungry order a "4x4"!

echigo sushi is the reason everyone where I work wants to go down to LA. I know its not an option for good reasons (cheesecake factory voter here) but if any of you are fans or even mild fans of sushi, I would not pass this up.

An anaheim now, will likely be heading to the garden walk tomorrow and will make a reservation for the number of people confirmed in the blizzcon plans thread. If you still want to come and haven't posted there yet then hurry up.
Again, for after dinner I was thinking the 300 bowling alley looked like a fun place. Has a bar, looks to be good atmosphere and potenital for drinking games on the lanes if people wanted to do that kind of thing :)

Perfect, A bowling alley represents a very neutral atmosphere for us to mingle, while providing the various aspects of entertainment neccessary for fun. If this is the after place I am there.

Hey, is this only for blizzconners? I didnt get tickets, but I live in Newport Beach so Anaheim is just up the way. I have kept an eye on tickets on ebay but I am busy Saturday morning anyway. It would be nice to meet some other multiboxers though. :)

Don't think this event was limited to Blizzcon goers. However It just happened to be organized because we were all heading to the same venue for the weekend anyway.
Btw, I just realized I will be driving to anaheim in rush hour traffic. It's going to take me about an extra one to two hours to get to the con. :(

Hey, is this only for blizzconners?
Of course not. If you live within travel distance, feel free to stop by! :)
Speaking of which -- Dual-boxing goody bags have been ordered for those confirmed. I ordered a few extras for the "maybe" folks and any other last minute peoples.
