Could the Keyclone guy please help me out on this one.
Basically I cannot seem to get SHIFT/CTRL plus another key working. I have SHIFT+F3 setup as a macro, but when I press it, it does not get broadcasted.
I have a key block whitelist setup, however, my keystroke is SHIFT+F1, *NOT* LSHIFT+F1, and the key whitelist does not give you the ability to do SHIFT, only LSHIFT and RSHIFT. Same thing for CTRL.
Please help - what can I do to resolve this?

Hi there,
i think the problem isnt' really resolved yet. Got 2 keyclones for 2 PC's and those are connected. It's a bit strange, all hotkeys (for example shift+1, shift+2) are working in all Wow instances well, but when i try to type let's say a "/dance" on all 5 Wow's the shift key won't get passed to PC #2 and it just says "7dance". Same thing when i try it in notepad, on PC #1 all windows get the shift modifier but PC #2 not.
Any suggestions?
(sry for my english :-p)

yes, the modifier bug is still in the latest release, v1.7r. i am hoping to resolve the bug soon.
btw, using keymaps can help reduce the need for the various key gymastics. locally, you press shift+alt+f12 which triggers 'opening.salvo'... and on each clone, you tie it to whatever key you'd like.
keymaps are really the better way to help multiple character types work together in a group

Personally I use keymaps to totally bypass this issue.
Shift F3 => Keymap => PressShiftF3
Set that on both keymaps and when you press ShiftF3 it does it on all clients. No this isn't optimal, however it does take care of it beyond the basics.

Is there any work around for multiple instances on a single machine (other than going back to blacklist)? The keymap solution seems to be for multiple physical PC's, correct?
Thanks, great tool btw.

keymapping is for any amount of machine, you actually setup a keymap for each client that is listed in the keyclone listing.
so no matter if your running 1 2 3 or even 4 to 10 pc's - its what keymap you associate with the client, nothing more.

Yes, but to use multiple keymaps it looks to me like i need multiple clients, and I only have one client running which is broadcasting to multiple windows.

yes there is a bug atm, using a white list tho, or keymaps, keyclone recognises LSHIFT + xxxkey just as that, left shift and whatever. however wow doesnt recognise left or right shifts, so therefore does jnothing.
if you take oyut the keymaps or none pass filtering, and let eveyrthing through, it works fine.
