Won't be 'soloing' the Brew boss anytime soon :(

So, I was in the AV cave before the game started, and someone summoned a 'portable mole machine' or something like that. I didn't know what it was, so I clicked it. Woops, zoning to Blackrock. OK, so I just went ahead and clicked on the other 4, and decided to give it a go. He pretty much 3 shotted my lead shaman, 3 shotted all my fire eles (earth was on cd) and wiped me in, oh, 10 seconds. Has anyone been able to box this encounter?

If your a fresh 70 (blues & greens) you'll struggle. With 5 earth ele's and about 600 spell dam it's doable. At 1K spell dam you don't need any eles.

I do him 5x a day with my shaman, died a total of 5 times at the beginning. What I do is use 1 earth and 1 fire ele and by the time I do all 5 I've used all 10 cooldowns. I always wait for my EM cooldown before doing the next one. I use drums and heroism at the start. He usually dies just before heroism is done and sometimes my earth ele is alive and sometimes not.

What sucks about it all is the repeating useless trinkets that drop and the low drop rate of brewfest mounts. Out of 13 attempts (5 me, 5 Bayag, and my 3 other 70's) there was 1 pipe, 2 hops a whole lotta melee trinkets, a couple tanking trinkets, 1 dagger (d/e'able) and finally one kodo dropped on my 12th run.

i have ~ 1k spelldmg (s2-s4 equip) with my 5 shamans,
i tested something today: bloodlust, 5x fire ele'sand than dps dps ...... after 29 sec the eventboss was dead :D

if you have bad equip you must use 1 earth and 1 fire ele's and 1 bloodlust to kill him (you must heal yourself and your ele's)

the boss hits my shamans (12.200armor) for ~1k-1,2k with normal melee hits (i have 11,4k life).

keep spamming lightning blots (2x lightning bolt ==> 1 chain lightning ==> Fireshock ==> 2 lightningbolt ==> chain lightning ==> frost/earthshock ==> ...)

if the boss casts his special attack move away quickly with your shamans (bind a key for walk backwards with all characters)
the special attack does ~3,0-3,5k dmg to my shamans.

stand near the boss so your chainlightnings will kill the adds (dont forget to move back if the boss casts his special attack).

if you cant "solo" the eventboss ask a tank or a healer to help you, so it would easier for you :D
