Anyone using the Dominos action bars in wow?
I'm currently using Bongos2, and have been for a long time. Looks like the author has stopped maintaining it and with the 3.0 patch and beyond it will no longer be compatible. The author has created dominos as a replacement, but it's supposed to have a few less features.
I'd be interested to see any opinions people have about dominos. Specifically I've been trying to figure out if it has a "/click bongosactionbuttonXX" command, but haven't had any luck yet.

I've been using it for a little while now. Not sure about the /click bongosbutton xx function but I do know that alot of the customization and such is now buried in the addons menu rather than a click on the mini map button and the bind directly to spell/macro functionality is gone from the version I use anyway. That was disappointing. I made the switch for the WotLK beta though and I've gotten used to it I guess.

Me and my wife used bongos2 until a week ago when we switched to trinitybars and never gonna look back. Dominos is limited to a certain number of bars if I remember right.
PS: I thaught the thread was about an addon that lets you play dominos inside the game lol.

The /click command is not dependent on the mod but rather a function of WoW. Search for /click and my username and you will see some post on it.
Many buttons that requires a mouse click can be executed with a /click command you just need to know the frameid and the frame must be active on the screen.

I switched to Dominos a few weeks ago and have been pleased with it's performance.

I use it but never used bongos so can't really compare it to anything... seems good enough I guess.

Update to thread:
I'm using dominos and it works great with 3.0.
Btw, I did find out how to use /click with Dominos. As another poster informed me, /click is a built in command and you just have to find a way to know what the name of the button is you want to press.
To find the button name in Dominos, I simply turned on the "key binding" mode and hovered over the key - right there in the mouseover tooltip it shows you the name of the button. You can then go back to your macro and use /click DominosActionButton48 (or whatever the key name may be).
I am very happy with Dominos, and indeed, it works great in 3.0 ... Well, it worked until all of France-based servers suddenly crashed tonight.

I switched from Bongos to Bartender4. While not as good as Bongos3, it's way better than Dominoes.

I'm using Macaroon myself. Was using Bartender3 since it came out, there are some interesting things that I'm looking into like bars that target a specific player and a few other things that may be more multiboxer friendly.

Same here. I also swtiched from X-perl to PitBull - the PitBull interface has been much improved since I tried it ages ago - quite straight forward and easy to set up now.
Cheers,

Kinda hard to save the settings though, you have to save each layout individually or whats the deal? On Pitbull.
