Hi and thanks,

I want to two/three box WoW and play different characters. I have reviewed a lot of posts on this site, very helpful by the way. I have two computers to use, one main PC, and a older PC. Here are the specs.

Main PC:
Vista Home Premium 32bit
Q6600@2.4 OC @2.7
2G 800 RAM
Nvidia GTX OC
10000 HD120
28" Monitor

Second PC:
Xp Home 32bit
P4 2.53
1G Ram
Nvidia 7600GS 512
120Gig HD
19" Monitor

So, I wanted to know what you think would be the best set up for me. I read a lot here about 5 boxing, but thats with all the same character, or 4 and one. I guess I could do two of the same classes and one diffrerent to make things easier for macros and such. Ideally, I would like to use one keyboard(g15) and one mouse and somehow toggle between the two machines if possible. I think 5 boxing would be fun as well, but I don't want to miss out on the gameplay by zerging everything with the same toon x 5. Please let me know what how you would use my hardware to its best ability for maximum enjoyment and ease of use.

Thanks,
Matt

Try Keyclone...you can set the IP address to talk to the other PCs in your system...I am doing 2 atm.

Yes, but if I am running different toons "cloning" my key stroke won't work will it? Or does keyclone allow me to switch which computer the one keyboard connects to?

Even though its cloning you can still do clever things akin to separately controlling each character.

You simply use hotkeys that do something on one character and nothing on another character. For instance maybe your priest will cast group heal when you press Shift+F, none of your other characters will have a skill bound to that key.

At this point you can start to do clever things like grouping skills you think would be good to cast at the same time. Maybe you have a priest and a warlock, you can bind the 1 key to cast curse of agony on the warlock and also cast sw:p on the priest. You can group up nukes and dots or other spells that have similar functions to the same hot key.

Think about all of your characters as 1 character with the abilities of all 5, you can do it, but you just need tons of hot keys.
