You would be automating the logging in aspect of the game, but your not automating gameplay. Does anyone know if it's against the TOS to use AHK to send your account name, tab, password, enter, to log into the game? It's a pain to enter the username and password for 5 different games.

account name, tab, password
That means that your user account and password will be stored on your computer... don't think that this is a good idea.

The way that mine is set-up i have wow remember my user account (it is a check box on the wow user login screen that does this) and i just type my password. There is no way that i would save my password on my computer.

Well, if I wanted to I could do some simple encryption so it's not stored on my computer in plain text. That still doesin't answer my question if it's ok with Blizzard to do that. In order to have the game save your account name you need a different install folder for each game, and I prefer it that when I make a change in one wow window and log off, the settings are saved for all of them.

Technically you're not actually in the game playing at that moment you are just logging in. So I would say no it shouldnt be a problem on Blizzards end. They just dont want automation from toons in the game.

On the safe side i would ask a GM about this.
Then you get a 100% answer instead of guesses.
