I've got 2 and like them alot, it'd be fun to do stealth runs with 5 of em

Heh, my moonkin are parked at 60 until the 3.0 patch makes 60-70 easier xp...or until I run out of RAF groups to level. :) They're hella fun, and MOONFARE SPAMming people to death in PVP is just tasty as hell.

I was thinking of doing 5 boomkins for my next group.

How did you go about leveling them through the lower levels? I don't have the option of boosting so I'm guessing this will be rather painful.

I respecced my druids at 50 and went a mangle build. Nothing lives through a ravage/mangle/ferocius bite x 2+
If one of the druids use pounce (stun) instead of ravage, the mob is dead before it's out of the stun usually.

And that way i keep my mana for important things, like covering half of orgrimmar with tranquility :-)

@Anemo; Raf on 4 accounts and boosting them in dm/stck/sm with my 70 pala ;) (partly prot/ret build with 580 spelldmg, need more spelldmg!!! and the shield from sporregar).

@Zub, hehehe well need to find out what suites me better, gonna go start questing with them tonight, so hopefully it will all go well with just spamming moon/starfire or wrath :P.

Nais..
My druid team is parked at ~25 (i'm not even sure O.o)

I've mixed my main account druid for a shammy for brd spawns and it seemed to work out great.
Maybe even better then 5 shammies once WotLK talents start counting.
To bad the shammies always find new stuff to grind and they like to stick together.

The only thing which I think is going to be troublesome is handling the shapeshifting if you start going tank-healer-3oomkin.
I for one would love to macro the possiblity to swap the healer and the tank in mid combat might the healer go oom.
But hey, no trouble, no satisfaction once it works :)

Good luck and keep us posted ;)

Yeah that will probably work just as well ;-)
I swapped to feral mainly because i had just done a group of elemental shammies to 70 and boomkins were just too similar, and therefore boring to me.
Feral positioning can be a pain however.

Iam actually thinking if i shouldnt make a pve group out of them, add a feral tank and you would have an awesome stealth run group :)

I have to admit I am leaning more and more to going for a 5 druid team on the alliance side.

I have one druid tank approaching sixty in my current group - and the more I think about it the more I like the idea of 5 druids,

so will probably level 3, raf a fourth to get a 5 druid team.

1 feral tank, 1 resto and the rest probably moonkin.

Primarily PVE, I love the idea of instance stealth runs. I love the idea that if the healer pulls aggro he can switch to bear form and one of the others can start healing (albeit at reduced effectiveness).

Is there anyone running 5 druids that can comment on stealth runs?

I have 5 druids (boomkin) parked at level 62. They are okay stealthing instances but you need to be a couple of levels higher than the mobs in some cases (where mobs are too close for comfort). I also have 5 rogues at level 35 which are really good at lower instance runs. I can pretty much sap everything in my way and they are becoming really powerfull bringing down mobs and bosses. i don't expect they will do as good in outland, though. Down the road I plan on 10 boxing and moving one of these teems to 5 other accounts. Now that would be some incredible fun!

My moonkin team is on it's way. I started it mostly due to needing something easier than my mixed group to get used to my N52te gamepad :)

Raw DPS is quite nice for a change after tank/healer/dps although mana is always an issue :(
