OK... wierd situation. I had KeyClone running 3 instances of WoW on my Vista box; the main window had no framerate limit while the two wingmen had 20fps limitation imposed. Vista proved to be too much trouble for me so I reinstalled XP which caused my KeyClone license to expire.

However, having copied my Interface and WTF directories into my fresh install of XP and WoW, I find that WoW now only runs at 20fps even without KeyClone around to launch it (as per the FAQ, I'm waiting on my license to be fixed).

Where is this information stored? I need to take the FPS cap off.

/console maxfps xx
/console maxfpsbk xx

those commands I think will change it.

the info is actually in your config.wtf as
SET maxFPS "20"
SET maxFPSBk "20"

you could just remove them and you should be fine.

Ahah! Thanks very much.

Since we're on the subject, what's the difference between maxFPS and max FPSBk?

One is foreground (wow is active) and the other background (you've alt-tabbed out - or another window has focus)
