Hi,

With the 2x mages 2x priest combo almost 70, we (me and my gf) decided afterall to give RAF a try. The lack of a tank is sometimes pretty annoying.
Got 4 extra accounts, and started quadboxing each last friday evening.

She 4x shaman, me paladin, priest and 2x mages :).
When they are higher level we can place the pala in our 2x priest,2x mages team if required.

When playing we sometime meet up to do the higher kills if we can't manage it with our own 4 toons.
So far we have had some comments, like wtf are all those people doing here? oooh multiboxers :D (in front of the Inn in Darkshire). No real negative comments, and thus far no: i'm going to repport you.
Sometimes I group up with a lonely guy trying to kill some elite, and they are happy with it.
Thunderhorn (EU) seems to be a pretty laid back realm, with no real hate for multiboxers.

RAF is really, really cool. Yesterday evening they hit 30/31. Major drawback is the slow money, can't even learn everything haha. they got 2 or 3 gold now.
Going to give them money from the mains for the mounts, and then they are on their own again.

Do you guys do any professions on your raf toons? So far i'm not

Can't wait for them to get 61, then going to make another team.
4x warlock or 4x hunter maybe. Haven't played with those classes ever before.

No professions yet, but I have used my linen cloth when I get it for FA. I save Wool and up for turn-ins at the cities when I hit a slow spot in leveling.

Since I already have an herb/alchemist and a tailor/enchanter, I'll be going back and getting the mining professions and maybe another herb for the new inscription skill. I figure my warlock team would be very useful to pick up engineering for PvE content at least. Probably 1 goblin and the rest gnomish.

The only professions I have on my boxing groups are the gather professions: mining, herbs, skinning and disenchanting. So far every group I leveled up to 60, I've only gotten skinning past 150 or so. Everyone just levels too fast. I might drop the gathering profs later on for something else, haven't decided yet. I have 70s that leveled solo covering all the professions, it really depends on if the BoP recipes in WotLK for each profession is worth picking up or not. At this time, TBC BoP recipes are not worth it.

This one is taken....mine! mine! mine! mwhuahahahaa :)

To tell the truth, she's the one that got me into dual-boxing, and now the quadboxing.

if you want to level quickly using RAF and btw if youe using RAF theres no other reason really :-). A RAF multi box team is the hoby of a rich main. I was levelling fast as I could - the real surprising killer is skilling up after levelling. Costs tons. Mine only became self sufficient after Outlands - level 62 + where they started collecting gold nicely enough to suport themselves. Each got theit own super fast mount - bought by themsellves. Before 60 theyre a gold sink tbh if your levelling fast.

I would say skip the professions until after 60-61. Why? Well because you will have no time to do it since as mentioned leveling way to fast and honestly going to gather and herb or mine is a waste of XP time. During your 60-70 time you will have time to do some of it if you wish its a long road and it will take time might as well pick up a profession or 2.

I am now finally leveling tailoring on my non main, and I am doing that by using the stuff I gather from my second group send all cloth to group 1 and continue leveling, sure picking up loot will slow you some but still when you have to do some collection here or there what else are you going to do?

And yeah they are a big sink hole when it comes to training some of the time I cant even afford to train them, they go on leveling with lower level stuff until I can catch up
